Could come naturally during your playthrough. If not, it is cumulative, so when you fail in an area with enemies, and the checkpoint is close by, just do a couple of suicide runs, and every knock out will count towards this trophy.

To knock out an enemy, hit them with melee attacks 2-5 times, depending on what type of enemy they are. You can use normal melee with 
, or you can jumpkick with 
+ , or even slidekick with 
+ . You'll likely get this through natural progression, though this can be farmed by getting takedowns, then dying and restarting the checkpoint.
