Both Race XP and Create XP works towards your rank. To get Race XP, you need to race XP Races. To get Create XP, people need to download, view and use your creations in races. See "Star Creator"
for more info on Create XP. If racing is your thing, I suggest you do XP Series rather than XP Races. If you win the series, you'll get a 500XP bonus. Second place overall gets 400XP and so on.
To get to rank 30, you need 500,000 XP.
