How to unlock the Flea Market achievement in Monopoly Streets - Definitive Guide

In order to get this achievement you will have to purchase a property for 25% or less of its original value. This can only be done while in an auction so it makes it a little bit more difficult but can be boosted if you happen to be playing with friends.

For example when I got this achievement I put Ventnor Ave (yellow) up for auction. The square has a purchase price of $260 which divided by 4 is $65. Auction bids increase in increments of 10 so I bid $60 and got the achievement.

Easiest way to get it though is just play with a friend and the first tile you land on auction and have him let you buy it for $10 as this will guarantee the achievement.

Thanks for the 25% advice, it is good to know what price to aim for, you can increase your bids at a dollar a time using the analogue stick btw.

I normally negative vote anyone suggesting 'boosting' achievements illegitimately, I won't with you since you have offered useful advice too.

For those who want to do this faster,

Use a dummy profile and your main account, 2 controllers is needed Local game (does not need to be online), pick bull market mode (which auctions all properties) simply bid $10 and have the dummy account not bid. Achievement pops after you win the property, no need for a 2nd person or playing further than that. I got this while trying to get the Great Start achievement.

Just select bull market game and play locally with 4 controllers. The host does not even have to bid. You will win everything for $0

An even easier way is if you have 4 controllers/guitars/dance mats etc. Just start a 4 player game and the first property anyone lands on, just make sure only your character bids and only up to 25% as CougarSlayer530 said.

Monkey I find your last comment disconcerting as you may "thumbs down" good solutions that everyone else wants to see. Boosting is not hacking or cheating or any other thing that you apparently look down upon. Boosting is simply taking advantage of,the tools at my disposal.

For this achievement get a friend to help you and it will be very easy. Either you host a game yourself online or your helper does and have the other player join. It doesn't matter who goes first just as long as you/they land on a property then, press the button for an auction and one of you can just raise your bid up $10 and the other person do nothing. Once you win the bid for $10 the achievement will be yours.

Start a 2-player game and when someone lands on a property for the first time, have them send it to auction instead of buying it. When the auction starts, have on player bid $1 on it and the other player do nothing. After the auction is over, the trophy will pop!
