This one can be a little bit tricky. Even though it only specifies color groups, i had to acquire one of the utilities and one of the railroads before it would unlock for me. You can own more than one of each color and still have it unlock but you going to need to fill up the area where property cards are held with one card of each type.

Let your profile controller win every auction with $0 (yes, this is not a typo because the game defaults the auction leader to 1P). Just leave the game on as it begins with forced auctions for ALL properties. Come back later and you'd have earn the achievement."

The easiest way to get this is to play a Bull Market game with four controllers (guitar, drums, they all count). Let your profile controller win every auction with $0 (yes, this is not a typo because the game defaults the auction leader to 1P). Confirming you do need to have a railroad and a utility. For purposes of this achievement, you need to have one of each of the 10 groupings, the 8 colors, plus the 2 others. I got this by having a four-controller short game, and organizing trades back to my primary controller, but the Bull Market option described above does sound faster.

This is a easy achievement as long as you are playing the Bull Market game type. Either play with 2 controllers or get someone to help you online. Just keep bidding and winning all the auctions until you have at least one of each color at the same time.

Start a 2-player game and have the game set to custom rules so that all the properties are auctioned off at the start of the game & have your player buy all the properties for $1. After it's finished and you have one of each property type & color, the trophy will pop!
