Remember to save as frequently as possible so if you mess something up it's just a matter of reloading the required save file.
Golem (YouTube) has recorded a complete play-through, very useful if you get stuck at all during the game. He collects most, but not all of the life drops, so make sure to follow the guide for that as well if you want to get it done in a single play-through.
