How to unlock the Block This! achievement in Mortal Kombat - Definitive Guide

Easiest fighter to use to get this achievement is Sonya Blade. You can wait until you play as her during the story mode, during challenge number 4 in the tower, during a practice session, or you can jump right into a two player

During a two player fight you can enter the infinite combo meter code (466-466) or in practice you can adjust the settings to have your combo meter full. Once your special meter bar on the bottom of the screen is flashing "X" you can use your special X-ray combo (which I think are a great new addition to the game.)

Stand close to your opponent, make sure they aren't blocking, and tap both left and right triggers simultaneously. You will pull off Sonya's x-ray combo which think is eleven hits total. Achievement done.

Challenge #4 x Ray training with Sonya gives you this achievement as well.

I can confirm that challenge #4 is the X-Ray challenge with Sonya. I just got the achievement by playing that challenge. The maximum hit is 11 btw, not 12.

Or let your friend of dummy beat you up till the meter is full. Or go online and let some one work you over till its full. Easy either way with sonya. Thanks and thumbs up.

Let's be honest. If you're trying to 100% it, you're gonna have to hit 150 of those X-Ray attacks with her anyway. Where you do it isn't exactly important ha.

From the main menu go to training now go to practice. Now choose Sonya Blade as your character and anyone else for an opponent will do. When the fight starts hit cn_start and go to practice options and now put the super meter on full. Return to the game and stand next to your opponent and press cn_L2 + cn_R2 to perform Sonya Blade`s X-Ray move, which is an 11 hit combo...

The simplest way to do this is to pick Sonya Blade and build up her Super Meter. When it's full, hit + together and, if it connects, Sonya should perform her X-Ray move which is an 11 hit combo.

This one is simple; just pick Sonya in any game mode (training DOES count) and perform the X-Ray move. You need to completely fill the bar at the bottom of the screen and press + when the opponent is close and without guard.

Easy one that can be done in practice mode. Choose Sonya and enable Infinite Super Meter in the practice options. Just perform her X-Ray Attack (tap the X-Ray meter or press L + R together) and the trophy will unlock after the X-Ray move has finished.

A very simple trophy) if you can’t make the required number of combo hits, you can simply select Sonya Blade as a character, fill the X-Ray strip, then use the X-ray attack, and you get a combo of 11 hits)

Here is the combo for Scorpio 11 hits; jump on the enemy triangle, two squares, harpoon, up triangle, jump on the enemy cross, down back cross (teleportation with a blow), jump on the enemy cross, grab in the air (left shift). Only at first glance what is written above looks scary, but in reality there is nothing scary!!
