A minimum of 2 rounds is required.
Round time and difficulty settings do not matter.
You can’t lose a single match.
At least 3 Fatalities must be performed before reaching Goro/Kintaro. This means a Fatality is NOT required on Shang Tsung if you have done at least 3 before reaching him. Stage Fatalities count.
At least 5 Flawless Victories must be achieved before reaching Goro/Kintaro. This means at least 3 Flawless Victories must be achieved before Shang Tsung in addition to the 2 that will be required on him (below). It’s also possible to get all 5 on Shang Tsung by using the retry trick (see notes).
You must get 2 Flawless Victories on Shang Tsung without losing a round.
Notes:

You may re-select your fighter without penalty when it asks you to “Finish Him/Her!” (meaning you have to win). In doing so, you will fight your opponent again without a loss of rounds or matches. This is particularly useful against Shang Tsung. Selecting a different fighter between retries is allowed.
If a match results in a retry, all Flawless Victories achieved during that match will still count towards your total, including that of the final round.
While you aren’t allowed to lose a round to Shang Tsung, you can lose a round to anyone before him.

Hey all, after about 4 hours of trying the above solutions (Scorpion, Sheeva, Sektor, etc) and Shang Tsung just absolutely hating me for it, I found an alternative method that worked for me.

So you've made it to Shang Tsung, probably already lost some rounds by now, and you know how to make it back to the Player Select screen. And maybe, if you are like me, it shows that you've already lost 4 rounds. If that sounds like you, try selecting Mustard.... I mean Cyrax.

After about 5 attempts I got the double flawless with him. At the very beginning of the match, go for a Fwd Jump Punch, more than likely you'll jump over Tsung attempting to do a move. Attack him from the back with Y, Y. After that proceed to get into a rhythm of Fwd Jump Punch, Y, Y (The last Y will make his Saw come out). I found that it helps if you do the punch later in the jump.
As for the Fatality, I just used his default one at Touching Distance...I think it's hard to mess up at touching distance, but personally, sweeping distance is not my friend.

Anyways, I hope this method helps you all. It also works slightly on Jade, you may need to throw in a few other tricks against her though. For losing a round you get 1000, for winning a round you get 5000.

This secret achievement is called "You Found Me!" and is unlocked by fighting against Classic Jade in the Arcade Ladder. Below, I'll tell you the requirements needed to fight Classic Jade, and some strategies which can be used to make it easier to unlock this achievement.

First, you'll want to have the right settings in place. Go to options, and change Number of Rounds to 2. You can choose whatever Time Limit and Difficulty you like. I recommend Beginner difficulty for obvious reasons.

To get to the Classic Jade fight, you have to get through the Arcade ladder, all the way past the Shang Tsung fight, while meeting a number of stipulations. These are:

* You must have the Number of Rounds set to 2.
* You must attain 5 Flawless Victories, including a Double Flawless Victory against Shang Tsung.
* You must perform 3 Fatalities, including a Fatality on Shang Tsung. Stage Fatalities can be used, but Babalities will not count.
* You cannot lose a match. You may lose rounds, however.

Note: IV TRELON VI says: I don't think you need 5 flawless victories. Just a flawless on Shang. ~ Thanks, IV TRELON VI.

This may seem daunting at first, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. If Shang Tsung gets a hit on you while you're going for the Double Flawless (and trust me, he will, many times), then fear not, because you can win both rounds, getting to the "Finish Him" screen. Pause when you see "Finish Him", and go to character select. Choose your character and try again, the game will keep your record thus far intact.

When you get through all this correctly, right after the Shang Tsung fight there will be a loading screen for Goro's Lair. You will fight against Classic Jade. You don't have to beat her, only let the fight run until the achievement pops. This takes about 5 seconds.

Interesting side note: Classic Jade seems to have a constant invulnerability to projectiles, similar to the move Jade uses where she flashes green, any projectiles go through Classic Jade, buffed or not.

Okay, next, onto strategies. There have been a few methods described in other guides, both here and on other sites. I'll run through those first, giving positives and negatives of each strategy, just so all the information you need is in one place. My strategy may not fit your fighting style, one of these may work better for you:


Sheeva
(Up Down attack, followed by uppercut or sweep, uppercut)

This is the strategy I thought would work for me. Sheeva, although slow, hits very hard, and her up, down attack is hard to dodge. I regard Sheeva to be the character I play best with, I'd rate myself 4/10 as a player, but with Sheeva I got the 10 Online Ranked Wins achievement legit. I tried for nearly 2 hours to get this using Sheeva, to no avail. She always gets caught out while in the air. Shang Tsung shoots fire up, which always catches you off-screen. It has also been mentioned that you can use the up, down attack, followed by a grab, which leaves Shang Tsung stuck on the floor, making this easy. While it's true this happens, I would estimate that it works around once every 10-12 throws. This is not ideal as Shang Tsung can sneak a hit in while you're messing around trying to get him on the floor. Moving on...


Scorpion
(Down, Back, A attack followed by uppercut, or jump punch then uppercut combo)

Scorpion is quite fast, and hits hard. The down, back, A attack where Scorpion goes off screen and hits from the other side fails dramatically. Shang Tsung will block this 90% of the time, and get a hit on you 50% of the time. The jump punch, then uppercut combo was more effective, I got a few Flawless Victories in the half an hour or so that I tried this, but couldn't get a Double Flawless.


Okay, I'm suprised this hasn't been posted yet, but my strategy may help out some people still struggling with this. Firstly, choose Sheeva, and up, down, uppercut your way through the first seven kombatants, picking up Flawless Victories and Fatalities along the way. Then, beat Shang Tsung down and get to the "Finish Him" screen, and change character to...


Stryker
(Back, Forward, X)

Stryker's gun is a brilliant way to beat this. Make sure you start the fight crouched, and uppercut Shang Tsung to get him away from you. This may take a few tries. Then proceed to fire away over and over, make sure you're quick inbetween fires, so he can't sneak a fireball at you. With some patience and speed, you should be able to beat him. With Stryker I needed less than 10 tries, after all the frustration of trying with others.

Something else worth mentioning, depending on the fighter you choose, Shang Tsung seems to transform into characters designed to capitalise on your moments of weakness. If you choose Sheeva for example, he transforms into either Quan Chi, who teleports on top of you, or Baraka, who has a spinning attack which counters the up, down move. With Stryker, he transforms into Jade a lot, who can become invulnerable to the gun. If this happens, put it down to bad luck and try again.

Thanks to anyone who has managed to read this far without getting too bored, I hope this hasn't been too long winded, I just wanted to cover all the bases. If there is anything I've missed, or could add to make this a better solution, please feel free to comment or suggest, I'll add it in and give you credit. For this, you have to get double flawless on shang tsung on arcade ladder and do a fatality.
Note that you also have to do a fatality in all other fight and you cant lose a round.

A nice tip: on shang tsung, if you are hit or even lose a round, continue to fight to the Finish Him screen and dont kill him, wait for the finish him message to desapear then pause and go to the player select screen and try the fight again until you get the double flawless and fatality. If everything goes well, the game goes direct to the loading screen and after the fight starts, the achievement will pop.

So after many, many attempts the best way for me was to use scorpion. I have tried using sheeva's teleport move, strykers gun method and none would work for me. Noob is also another good choice if you spam his teleport and down, forward, A. The best way to beat shang tsung is using scorpions spear and throw move. Rinse and repeat. This might be the best way to do it. You wont get it on the first try but with trial and error you will get it. I always find the first round is the easiest to get a flawless but, it's the second round you have to watch out for. Because he will hit you once guaranteed. Keep trying and you will get it! Make use for your X-RAYS! Once you use it spam the spear! Also would like to add that timing is everything!

The only reason I'm posting a solution to this is because when I found the achievement, I did NOT fatality the last guy before Shang Tsung, so that removes the assumption that you have to fatality everyone on the ladder.

Getting the double flawless, I just used Scorpion with his spear move, then did his hellfire special attack (Down - Left - Y) and then uppercut. Wash rinse repeat, battabing!

Also as stated above, if you get hit, just beat him and wait until Finish Him! appears; then go to PLAYER SELECT and try it again.

This achievment is "You Found Me!" which is Classic Jade

For this start up a arcade ladder and select your character I selected Scorpion.

Set the Arcade ladder to begginer to make this easier for yourself.


Going throught the ladder you MUST do a fatality to every fighter in the ladder all the way to shang tsung and you cannot lose a round.

Note: You dont have to get a flawless on everyone to get to jade but on Shang tsung you must get a double flawless

When you get to Shang tsung the reason why i used scorpion is because of his spear < < (x). When i began the fight i jumped uppercut then speared him right away and upper cut. It might get scary cause of how he blocks but spear and upper cut. You can also get him with the teleport but watch out. After you get to the "FINISH HIM" screen do your fatality I did Nether Gate

Nether Gate: <- ,- > , <- , (A) Touching

After you completed this you will see the loading screen on GORO Lair after youll see her pop out and BAM Achievment Unlocked.

If you get hit by shang tsung simply go to player select and try again.

Hope this helped I got this while going for complete the ladder with every fighter.

Another thing that i found out:
Sheeva with her ground pound Down and Up
not confirmed if it works but hey you can try it.
spamming her pound might be easier.

How to get to Classic Jade:
At least 3 flawless victories
At least 5 fatalities (Babalities DON'T count but stage fatalities DO count)
Double flawless victory and perform a fatality on Shang Tsung (In the same match)
You CAN lose rounds but you CANNOT lose a match
If things go wrong for you during the Shang Tsung match make sure to get him to the "Finish Him" part of the match but DON'T defeat him! Once you're at the "Finish Him" part then press start and go to "player select" and choose whatever character you want. This makes it so you haven't lost a match as you would have if you went to "player select" immediately as something went wrong.

Your settings while going for this achievement:
2 rounds
Doesn't matter what your round time and difficulty is set to but beginner is recommend for your difficulty setting

Sheeva method:
(Down, Up)
The most popular method (but not the best in my opinion) is to abuse the down, up attack that Sheeva has which does an air ground pounce on the opponent. Once you reach Shang Tsung it's very annoying to get that double flawless victory because he seems to hit you in some way or an other. However, with persistence you could get to Classic Jade.
Sheeva's Fatality: Forward, Down, Down, Forward, (X) (Sweep distance)
Forward, Back, Forward, Back, (B) (Sweep distance)

Scorpion's Methods:
(Forward jump Y, Down Y)
The first method makes Scorpion only do 2 moves Forward jump Y and down Y. People say it abuses the AI's lack of intelligence but I didn't have much success with it.
(Back, Back, X) (RB)
The second method makes use of scorpion's chain and throw attacks.
Basically you use Scorpion's chain (back, back X) to bring Shang Tsung towards you and then you wait a second and threw them the opposite way of you (RB). Again, I didn't have much success with this method.
Scorpion's Fatalities: Forward, Down, Forward, (Y) (Close distance)
Back, Forward, Back, (A) (Close distance)

Stryker Method:
(Back, Forward, X)
This method is actually very usable. To start off this method I would always use Forward jump Y, Down Y and then just start using Stryker's gun (Back, Forward, X). Timing is everything in this method because you must be able to pull of his gun attack as fast as possible so Shang Tsung doesn't hit you with some annoying attack.
Stryker's Fatalities: Forward, Down, Forward, (A) (Sweep distance)
Down, Forward, Down, Forward, Block (Sweep distance)

Cyrax Method:
(Forward jump Y, Y, Y)
This solution seems the most to be the least known one but it actually works! After attempting the Sheeva method for several hours, I was convinced this achievement was going to take FOREVER. However, I started reading the other solutions on TA and thank god for Wanderer128's solution because I got the achievement with 1 attempt. This method made me a happy camper and it was definitely the easiest because all you do is Forward Y, Y, Y and Shang Tsung doesn't do much to stop it.
Cyrax's Fatalities: Forward, Down, Forward, Back, (Y) (Close distance)
Back, Down, Back, Forward, (X) (Jump distance)

You don't have to beat Classic Jade to get the achievement. You will get it once Round 1 begins! However just an added note a lost round to Classic Jade gives you 1,000 koins, and you get 5,000 koins with a round win!

I wanted to make this solution so you wouldn't have to look all over the place for every solution known.

The videos below aren't mine. I found these video guides while looking for more solutions instead of just the Sheeva method. The first video showcases Scorpion's first method and is owned by GameFrontDotCom. Don't listen to what he says the requirements are because he's wrong.

This achievement in my opinion may very well be the hardest achievement or at the very least the most annoying.
this is more of tips than a solution

First things first- Set the timer to 30, rounds MUST be a two in order for his to work. difficulty to beginner. You also need to_ get 5 flawless victories ( two of them MUST be on Shang Tsung) So you need to get 3 flawless victories before reaching him. You cannot loose a match at all to either your opponents or to Shang. As far as rounds go this is why I am posting this. BEFORE reaching Shang you cannot loose a round but to Shang you can ,I repeat, you CAN loose a round! Once you reach Him you just cannot loose the match. You must perform at 3 fatalities. you DON"t need to do it on every fighter. but 3 must be performed ( preferably before Shang) but you must do one on him. i lost a round to him when i was 'retrying" and once I got my double flawless I was still taken to jade also i didn't fatality everyone I only missed one fatality chance before Shang.

retrying- this is the part that is important for those going for this as well. if you don't get the double flawless you STILL need to win the match when it says finish him after that dissapears you can then go to the player select screen This won't count against you and you can try again.

As far as characters I'd say Scorpion,Kitana,Scarlet (dlc) and to a slight extent Ermac and Sonya are good choices.

Scorpion- The best man for the job and i got my achievement with him. First things first at the start try to use the jump punch Y into uppercut combo but DON"t abuse it! Only use it as a way to the first hit and establish space. after that THEN do the harpoon spam. you need SOME luck here depending on who Shang morphs into but you should be able to get him without much worry once you get him harpooned use neutral jump punch y into air throw repeat until he dies or time runs out. or you could throw him after harpoon I prefer the former since the air throw puts Shang at a distance which is where you need him to be to continue this sequence


Kitana- luck is needed here but she has the easiest spam of all! use her fan toss and spam it like she is Ryu from street fighter with a hadouken! Seriously this can work but you will have to readjust Kitana since her fan tosses move her forward a bit and you will have to move back to get the distance again


Scarlet- Same as Kitana use her dagger but since Scarlets tays in place you wont have to readjust her spacing or distance use her teleport drop if Shang does a fireball that may hit you a bit of luck is needed her too

sonya and ermac can use the punch uppercut combo but again luck is really need on that. Sonya can dodge the ground fireballs with arc kick ermac can somewhat keep shang away with force toss or telekenises.

This achievement IS possible and really the only hard part about it is getting the double flawless just be paitent and keep trying this took me two days alone! you also don't to need to fight jade to get the achievement ( it'll pop once you find her and the round starts) if you win you get extra coins. good luck!

Healing yourself to 100 % with Quan chi before the end of a round still give a flawless victory. I did that before doing a fatality in the second round and got it even though I blocked a few attack in the second round. Use the enhanced special move to gain better attack and heal yourself. If you don't it's random between the 2. Good luck !
