How to unlock the Supercross Series 3 achievement in MX vs. ATV Reflex - Definitive Guide

In Supercross, you will race a few laps around a man-made track inside a stadium. There are eight races in this series, however, you will only have to place 3rd or better in the first six races. They are Fort Dodge Round 1, Kingston Round 1, Manchester Round 2, Fort Dodge Round 2, Stonepoint Round 2, and Kingston Round 2. Take into account that there is a "heat" race and then the main event. Make sure to place high in the heat race, so you can skip the last chance qualifier and go straight into the main event. You only have to be 3rd place or higher when you cross the finish line on the final lap of the main event.

You will be asked if you want to qualify for the races, but it really isn't required. It will only be the deciding factor on which gate you get to start at; and I mean, it isn't that hard to get in front of everyone after a lap. Just skip the qualifying, you'll save yourself the time it takes to do 3 laps.

You will have to ride either a MX bike or an ATV to compete in these races.

Some tips to help you:

- Play on Rookie difficulty. This achievement does not require a certain difficulty.

- Try and get the holeshot. An easy way to do this is to hold in the clutch, gas, and forward on the left analog stick at the start. Do not do anything with the right analog stick. When the gate drops, let go of the clutch (obviously) and keep holding forward. You may start a wheelie, but do not slow down, your wheelie will soon stop. After your front wheel has touched the ground again, stop holding forward and just continue to the first turn.

The Supercross races can be a daunting prospect for anyone who is used to the wide circuits of the Waypoint races and the relatively flat Nationals. With narrow circuits in most of these events you will do well to stay on the track after jumps. The key to a good race is to first, have full control over jumps. If you approach a jump at the wrong angle you will end up slamming into spectators. There are lots of mounds as well so if you remember the MotoSkills tutorial on them, you have to pull back on the right analogue stick to soften the suspension and maintain a good amount of speed. Same as the Nationals there are 3 events in series 1 and 2 and 6 in 3. Again you’ll have the choice to qualify and in series 3 you’ll have to race 2 events of 3 laps each to claim a win.
