In waypoint, you will race through various markers, which are blue flags. There are four races in this series, however, you will only have to place 3rd or better in the first two races. They are 3 Pines Cross-Country and Frost Wood. You only have to be 3rd place when you cross the last flag, nothing happens if you are, say last at the 5th flag. You will have to ride either a MX Lite bike, a MX bike, an ATV, a Sport Buggy, an UTV, a Sport Truck, or a Sport 2 Truck to compete in these races.
After completing the series, you will unlock UTV vehicle types.
Some tips to help you:
- Play on Rookie difficulty. This achievement does not require a certain difficulty.
- Use a Sport Truck, a Sport Buggy, or a Sport 2 Truck to race in these events. I suggest the Sport 2 Truck that has with equal everything, but you can pick whatever. Your buggy or truck will dominate the other riders on MX bikes and ATVs.
- At the start, just hold down the gas. When the timer reaches zero, you will blow everyone in the dust.

Arguably the easiest events in the game. As long as you have your sport 2 truck in the latter events, the competition will not stand a chance. You can cut corners a lot in some of the races as well so be on the lookout for any that will give you the advantage. There are only two Waypoint races in each series so they’ll be over before you know it.
