I just finished my 6th event (important to note the distinction between events and races as each event consists of 2 races)

Anyway, after my 6th event (all wins), my manager lets me know there are offers available but they're all for MX2. Looks like offers come every 6 events but i haven't gained enough REP with MX teams yet. If i go into Public Relations and then Team Interest and opt for MX class, the highest % shown after 6 events is 85%

Another 6 races and should be teams at 100% which will then allow me to move up to MX class

This is incorrect. I've won 10 races in MX2 and still haven't been offered a contract by an MXGP team.

Also, it seems if you get the chance to sign with a team and choose to pick a sponsor in MXGP class instead of changing teams because you wanted to stay with your own custom team, it won't give you the achievement even though you are now in MXGP from MX2. Feels like an oversight.

During your career you will have the option to change teams a few times. To earn this just change to a team that is ‘MXGP’ and not ‘MX2’. If you miss it the first time you will get another chance after a few more events. Your first opportunity to make this change is mid to late in your first full season.
