The best weapon for this is the Satellite power-up. Look for an icon with a satellite dish on it, pick it up, get close to some bogeys (arf) and fire it off with the left bumper.
If you don't get it early on (it was my first achievement so you should), the Ragnarok mission has you fighting some weak drone planes right away. You'll easily kill three of those with the satellite weapon (which is on top of the central structure with the blue panels/wings).
