How to unlock the Name to Remember achievement in NASCAR The Game 2011 - Definitive Guide

You unlock Gold Legend Coins by beating the Legend Challenges in the Invitational races. There are 8 of them to beat.

To me, the first six races are extremely easy....but it seems when I got to Pocono and Daytona I had issues getting the first 2 or 3 cars.

Here's my solution: Stop. It does not penalize you for going a lap down so just slow down and when the lead car catches up to you get behind that car and get your coin and just work your way back.

Again, going a lap down does not matter. This is how I got mine.

Yeah, that's what I did too starting at Pocono, I just stopped, let the pack come back around, sped up, let 'em hook up behind me, and then pass me one at a time so I could get the lead pack's coins one at a time, and then finish the race to also keep in check with the Compete In Every Invitational Event achievement.

Good idea, I've been struggling too with many Invitational Events as well, I'll try this and let you know if it works!

In my opinion, the easiest way to get the last two challenges at Pocono and Daytona without spending too much time on them is to go into the driver assists menu and turn the options for wheel lock and wheel spin down/off while leaving everything else as it is. At Daytona I would actually suggest turning everything all the way down there. This allows more speed in the race car, making it easier to keep up with the AI while still having the benefits of a stable race car.

I somehow managed to get the Pocono challenge without this trick, but Daytona would have been impossible if I hadn't turned the assists all the way down.

So to condense it...
Pocono: Turn wheel lock and wheel spin assists down/off
Daytona: Turn all assists down/off

Hope this helps!

The only one that gave me a problem was the one at Pocono Raceway, I couldn't catch Stewart for my life. So, as much as I hate to do it (but it works!) I drove backwards and hit him, and after he got going again I just followed behind him. I would guess this can work on all the other tracks as well. Good luck!
