(This achievement is acquired playing in the "My player" mode)
This achievement is actually tied to your leaguewide popularity. When you answer questions in your postgame news conferences, answer with arrogance, which will almost always result in a bump in leaguewide popularity. You will first be contacted by Jordan for sponsorship, then be put on a billboard, then be featured on a magazine cover. The fourth progression will be a letter from Jordan to design the shoes. If you have been answering arrogantly at the news conference every time, you should expect to get it after about 40-50 games.

You can also get it an alternative way, by answering with loyalty. This method will take you approximately 130-200 games because you only get a leaguewide popularity boost every 3 games or so answering that way. I just figured that people wanted a solution to this achievement instead of a guide on how to make your teammates like you.

I would like to add that if you are on a losing team you wont get past the letter. I played 30 games with Minnesota, we were 9-21 and only had received the letter after about 10 games. I requested a trade, got traded to a 1st place team and after 1 game I got the billboard and after the second game i got the magazine cover. I dont know if thats just me or if that happens to everyone. Great guide.

I just won the NBA title with the Spurs traded from Grizzles. I still only have the billboard. I have played around 50 games and simmed the rest. This is the only achievement I need to get in My Player.

When you are playing in the NBA, you need have good games both stats wise and teammate grade wise to earn an opportunity for the Jordan Brand to offer you a deal with a shot to make your own signature Air Jordan's. Before you get the opportunity to create your own signature Air Jordan's, the Jordan Brand will send you a welcome letter, put you billboard, and put you on a magazine cover. Increasing your league wide popularity is very important. In your press conferences answer with arrogance, when the questions are about your player getting an award and game play. Answer with loyalty, when the questions are your team. Answer with professionalism, when the questions seem to be a tie between arrogance and loyalty. This trophy can happen either mid-way through the season or later in your career.

This is unlocked in My Player mode. Play well and the big man himself, Michael Jordan, will notice you and sponsor you with his company. This will come with time as you play through the season. This achievement is directly related to your overall rating. I unlocked this playing through the season legitimately in the Playoffs of my first season. Just keep increasing your stats and this achievement is yours.
