I did this in the Jordan greatest player challenge.
1. Play on rookie
2. Edit the games sliders
-Set these attributes of yours (user) to 100: Vertical, Block, Defensive Awareness and whatever other stats you feel the need to use.
-Set your teams defensive rebound to 0 (it's easier to block off rebounds)
-Change the computers vertical to 0
-Change all the computers shot successes to 0
-Change the computers offensive rebound to 100
-Change all of the computers shot tendencies to 0 BESIDES Attack the basket, layup, and inside shot which you will want to change these three to 100
Start a game with maximum time per quarter, and stand near the goal and let the computer drive it in, and it should be pretty easy to get it. The achievement will unlock as soon as you get ten blocks. Check the game stats to see how many blocks you have. Good luck!

The only setting that matters for this achievement is the quarter length. 5 minute quarters are minimum for this achievement.
Other then that, you can turn off all NBA rules, and turn User/Computer Sliders up/down.
Refer to "Five by Five" on easy blocking method.
