For anyone who isn't familiar with how the NBA draft works, a "lottery pick" is anywhere in the Top 14. I got a A- grade with my all-round point guard and got drafted 14th by the Houston Rockets (even though the mock draft stated I would be 15th by the Indiana Pacers).
Teams with a "draft lottery pick"
1st & 4th - Cleveland Cavaliers
2nd - Minnesota Timberwolves
3rd & 12th - Utah Jazz
5th - Toronto Raptors
6th - Washington Wizards
7th - Sacramento Kings
8th - Detroit Pistons
9th - Charlotte Bobcats
10th - Milwaukee Bucks
11th - Golden State Warriors
13th - Phoenix Suns
14th - Houston Rockets
As stated by GatorSixCharlie, getting an A grade during the "Rookie Showcase" helps to getting drafted in the top 10, but as commented by Ninja Scroll, it is not required, as he got drafted 13th by the Phoenix Suns with a rating of C- (see his comment below for more info).
After the showcase, you are interviewed by three teams. If the team interviewing you don't have a draft lottery pick, give answers to indicate you don't want to be drafted by them (Y is usual the answer to pick - not guarenteed). If the team DO have a lottery pick, be as professional as you can and hope you get drafted by them.
Don't just go by the "mock draft" and assume you are gonna get drafted where it tells you. As I stated earlier, I was mocked to be drafted 15th by Indiana, and ended up 14th by Houston. If you get drafted anywhere between 1-14, once you walk onto the stage and it says "Congratulations! You've been drafted!", the achievement will pop.

@Borders Sorry about that. I guess it largely depends on your stats. If you get something around 15 pts, a few assists, some steals, you're gonna get noticed. When I got drafted with an A- grade, I got around 12pts, 4 assists and 1 steal, but playing double team helped my grade immensely. As I said also, a good pre-draft interview with a team with a draft lottery team (as well as a poor interview with one outside the top 14) helps also. I actually played the pre-draft game before I came to see the solutions and finished the pre-game w/ a C- score w/ 15 PTS, 10 Assist, 5 Rebounds, & 1 Steal as a starting PG. I did 3 interviews which started w/ the Suns followed by Utah, and I can't remember the 3rd team.
Then the Mock had me going 13th to the PHX Suns and what do you know, I was drafted by the Suns. Achievement Unlocked!
I did this going straight through the game w/o savings because I didn't know how the My Player would work in this years edition and not knowing my score would matter for the draft.
Basically it is not required to get an A score to get drafted. I think you just need to put up some nice stats and you can still make mistakes because I had 4 turnovers and it was mentioned as my weakness in my Mock Draft stats.
Good solution, but please edit so everyone knows it is not required to score any A's to be drafted. Yes it would almost assure you a pick in the 1st round, but to save your game over and over is a waste of time. Just play a smart game with a good stat line and you should be okay to get drafted as I did w/ a C-. My score went down due to allowing the other PG to score and those 4 turnovers. I only made two bad shots. For whatever reason as a PG they move you to the 2 guard (shooting guard) and those bastards were hogging the ball, so I called for it too much and my grade line went down for asking for the ball too much. Hey, I wanted to pad my stats dammit! LOL! =P

I struggled a lot for this one. Finally found some things that helped me:
I made my player PG, and got a much higher grade than before (with my C). You can turn Play Vision on in the in-game menu and put it to 'FULL'. You can also make the AI call plays. With both adjustments it's much easier to score points (XP) for good passes and assists because the play will be showed to you in spots and lines.
Grey line - AI teammate line
Dark blue line - User walking line
Light blue dotted line - passing line
Grey circles - User positions

The key to this achievement is earning A grade during your pre-draft rookie game...
Best advice is you can save and quit during any point during your actual game with the other draft prospects... what you can do is save anytime you do something that improves you team grade... and reload to a previous save when you commit an error (ie turnover missed shot etc.)
Complete the game with A grade you will get drafted in the top ten, and the achievement will pop...

Get drafted in the top 14 and the achievement will unlock.
