Here's an easy way to fly through MyPlayer, getting all the achievements! I've done the hard part for you as well.

I went through the rosters of each team, lowered all the player's attributes to minimum, made their heights 5'3", and adjusted other things as well:

1. Gave them all 5 year contracts with no trade clauses
2. Made the majority of their abilities (dribbling, shooting) poor
3. lowered shot tendency on all types to 0 except for 3 pt shots, made that 99

I did this for EVERY team except for the Jazz, of which I did the opposite, maxing out everything, EXCEPT FOR THE POINT GUARD (because I am PG in MyPlayer).

I then created a MyPlayer PG, and after a few tries, got drafted by the jazz. Now you are on a team loaded with maxed out players, playing against ALL OTHER TEAMS with crappy players. The no trade clause for each player ensures NO PLAYERS are traded, as well as you don't get any of your teammates traded during your whole myplayer career.

I played as a point guard, and was able to get 9 out of 10 HOF requirements after the first season (yes, I got 1000 steals the first season). I only played the key games, 12 minute quarters on those, and got about 100 points, 40-50 assists a game, and 40-50 steals a game. At the end of the 2nd season, I got the remaining HOF requirement (2 conference finals one). Try to get as much as you can by the end of the first season, because each subsequent season will have less and less of the sucky players on the rosters.

I did have to go into about 20 games of the 4th season before I retired to HOF (to get the "10 million dollar a year contract" achievement and the "buy Michael Jordan dunk package" achievement).

This roster is entitled "min attributes roster." Check it out and use it for MyPlayer, Association mode, and Creating a Legend, it makes it ALOTTTTT easier.

Did you say you earned 9 requirements in one season? I'm speechless man! When I was playing the way you would normally play, I was just able to get about 5 in my first year. I'll try your method now because my xbox froze when i was about to save My-Player and my save file got deleted o_o However, the requirements with the most assists in one season did not unloc for me! I've read that it seems to be glitched for PG's :( Any hints?? But thanks anyway for posting this guide, hope it'll work like you described ;)

Yeah, I made that same "pissed off promise" myself, but it lasted about a week lol. I agree about the stick direction change with the camera view change, but I've just gotten used to it over the years. Yeah, it took me 3 or 4 games to finally get an interview with the Jazz. I tried to get nothing less than an A minus during the game (not that I could get much higher LOL, I think I made it to regular A once, then started fouling to get down to A minus LOL)

Just an additional tip: make sure you do not get more than 60 steals or assists in a game. Otherwise the game will "reset" the 60 and start again from 0. (I just got 64 steals against the Celtics and afterward it says I only got 4 -.-)

Ok, I've been playing My-Player mode all day now and I'm right before the playoffs. The requirement with the most assists did now unlock, but somehow the one with being in the Top 10 of score, assists and steals at the end of the seasan did NOT! Maybe next year, or I really need to score those 10.000 points xD

Ok, finally got maybe the hardest achievement (except THE WHLE SHEBANG lol). After the second season, every requirement I should have already gotten, unlocked. Don't know how and why, but I'll not be too curious about it, just happy ;) Thanks again for the really hardest part of the whole thing!!!

I really enjoyed the My Player mode so I didn't use this solution, just did it the old fashioned grindy way but this is a good guide for people looking to knock this achievement out quick. Nice work.

I think this is great but i just hate playing that dumb rookie showcase to get picked by the Jazz.! I have another player that has ur roster but was drafted by the suns! Should i just play/sim through the season or will this slow my HoF progress?

Actually you could just lower the attributes on the Jazz, and that way ALL teams have minimum attributes, so it doesn't matter who you get drafted by (I heard some people were doing it that way too).

@vBURSToACTIVZv You have to go to 2K Share and select Download. From there you should be able to find the roster. Just make sure you load it and save it over the original roster once you've downloaded it.

Playing myplayer has never been more of a breeze. Averaging 40 points (5 min qtr), 10 assists and 20 steals as a point guard. It's just a shame that I am always a+ and winning 90-12... hahaha

nope, no patch would've "overridden" it, it's been that way for NBA2k games for years, however your roster is saved on within the main menu is what will initially carry over into MyPlayer. No, sorry, I don't have the game anymore man.

After you downloaded did you load that roster from the storage device? It does not automatically load it. It worked fine for me just now. (Though I am going to have to bump the Mavs and gimp the Jazz. As a Mavs fan, I just can't have the Jazz winning...)

Hi! I was wondering how in the world could you average 100 points, 40-50 assists, and 40-50 steals all in one game? I can only get about 60-70 points, 20-25 assists, and only 20-25 steals a game. And I'm already into February in my first season and I'm not even close to the HOF requirements. Here are my stats right now, assists 218 (and you need 2500), steals 316 (need 1000), and only 863 points (and you need 10000). And just the key games don't seem enough to do all that in one season. And i have actually played a lot of non key games. Oh and with the scoring title HOF requirement, how did you do that one? I'm 2nd and the 1st guy is on the same team and averaging 31 points a game, where it says i am only averaging 18 points a game. And one more thing, 80% of the time i try to steal the ball i either get called for a foul or he just can't steal it, i don't get that.

Honestly, I play point guard which gets me in control of the ball - I also play on the 2k camera view, which makes it infinitely easier, in my opinion to steal the ball - especially when all the opposing players you're going against have minimum attributes, the key ones being the low ball security and dribbling. But on the 2k camera view, as their opposing player is dribbling up the court, I would come down towards them and steal the ball - worked probably 95% of the time. That first season I pretty much played every game, not just key games though. It's not "critical" that you get all those HOF requirements in 1st season - you're gonna have to play 3 complete seasons anyway and part of the 4th. I just wanted to get as many as could knocked out in the 1st season when all the teams had the sucky rosters.

No problem, I was messing around on TrueAchievements at the time. It didn't take too long, I cant put a time frame on it - it is theoretically possible to get the 10,000 points the first season, but not really necessary - you would have to average over 120 points per game, and all that shooting takes away from your assists - if I remember correctly now, I didn't play all the games, just the key games - but remember, always remember, you have to play 3 full seasons minimum - so you do have plenty of time.

Unfortunately there is no way to shorten it - it is tough trying to get drafted by a specific team, it took me several tries as well.

Well i just bought this game brand new and the servers are already down :\ I therefore can't download the 'min attributes roster'. I went and looked at reducing people and it took about 2 minutes to do one person, does it realistically take 2 hours to do all the people if i wanted this?

Yes, the only one I was not able to get was the "play 2 conference finals" milestone, so I got that at the end of the next season. Oh I had the same thing happen myself with the save file deleting (I was at end of my 3rd season, I was so pissed!) So, when I started up this new one, I decided to make ALL the teams crappy lol. Honestly, I didn't have any issues with any milestones not popping as they should. Oh, and I'm not sure it makes a difference, but I play on the 2k camera view, to me that is by far the easiest camera view to steal on. Let me know how it goes.

That's such a big problem with deleting the save file over and over -.- I was on my 5th season and just needed about 150 more points to reach the 10th requirement! I was so pissed too that I promised to never touch this game again, but as you can see, I was not able to stick up to my promise! Yeah I'm playing 2K camera as well, quite easy with this cam to get steals, eventhough it's crappy that you need to change the direction of your left stick from down to up on the fastbreak.
I was not able to give it a try yet cause the jazz does not want to draft me. They do not even send a scout to an interview with me :(

I started the myplayer mode 3 times over, and everytime i must make; -250 double-doubles, -Make playoffs 4 times and -Make the ALL-STAR team 5 times. that cost alot of time. how can I get the same requirements as you? I chose to play as PG (every year i play as a PG to me that is the easiest position to play in terms of getting the HOF requirements the quickest). Out of the 15 HOF possible requirements for a PG, u only have to get 10. I got 9 in the first season (2500 assists, 1000 steals, win MVP, win title, win scoring title, lead league in assists/steals,finish in top 10 for scoring/assists/steals, get 50 A plus teammate ratings) then the next season got the remaining one (make conf finals 2 times). But its not NECESSARY to do it that way, because you'll have to play into ur 4th season to accumulate 5 million to buy MJ dunk package.

This achievement will take you the longest of all the My Player achievements.

For this achievement you need to complete 10 of 15 Hall of Fame goals.
(simulating will count toward these goals, when you decide to sim you should change simulation quarter lengths to 12 minutes
