How to unlock the Trip-Dub achievement in NBA 2K12 - Definitive Guide

I did this with LeBron James, and put the sliders up so all the 3 pointers i shot went in, put my steels up to a 100. I then got into double figures shooting 3pointers which also gave me the IT'S RAINING ACHIEVEMENT, then got 10 steels which gave me the MEN OF STEAL ACHIEVEMENT then just throw the ball to someone out by the 3point line and just shot the ball and it will go in giving you 10 assists

Note: i didn't get the DUB DUB ACHIEVEMENT when doing this so i guess that to get it you have to have a double double when the game ends

I can't get this no matter how many points, steals or assists I get.

Maybe try going for blocks instead, have you made sure that when you steel the ball the player your controlling grabs it, i had the same problem with the dub dub achievement. Its been so long since i got the achievement

I finally got this achievement while going for the Kevin Durant and lead by 15 ones (got those as well)! I simply did it in play now. Durant had like 49 points, 8 steals and 0 assists with me up by like 30 at the end of the first for the other two achievements. This I got in the middle of the second quarter. Achievement popped immediately after Durant got his 10th assist.clap

The only setting that matters for this achievement is the quarter length. 5 minute quarters are minimum for this achievement.
Other then that, you can turn off all NBA rules, and turn User/Computer Sliders up/down.

A triple double is double digits in 3 of the 5 categories ( Points, Assists, Rebounds, Blocks, Steals)
With sliders up, the easiest way would be 10 points, 10 assists, 10 steals.
Steal the ball, score. repeat 5 times. Steal the ball another 10 times and pass it off to someone else and make the shot with them. Repeat until you have 10 points, assists and steals.
