This worked after all these years. Didn’t hold RT got it on the fourth time I got fouled.

I also used the above tactic but it took forever to unlock. I noticed that by increasing the difficulty I could draw more contact but when I got fouled I would never make it if I was playing on Superstar difficulty. I went and edited Lebron's stats to be 99 for most offensive categories and then I lowered the difficulty to All-Star. This seemed to reduce the amount of fouls but after a few tries my shot finally went in. The way to get the most opportunities is to practice the tip off timing. If you don't win the tip just quit and rematch. You'll waste more time trying to get a rebound if the other team gets the ball and if your computer teammates foul them you'll have to sit through the foul shots which takes time. Just win the tip, take a step or two toward the bottom of the screen and pass it right to Lebron and drive to the hoop. He will get fouled most of the time and if you don't get fouled just restart and win the tip, pass to Lebron and repeat. No turbo required on your shots, just a tap of the X button near the hoop should be enough.
