The easiest way to get the “Program Changer” achievement.

This does NOT involve team builder and is far easier and quicker. Maybe 15 minutes tops.

1, Make sure auto save is turned off and go to Dynasty. Select a 2 star school, I used Vanderbilt.

2. Create ten 5 star recruits from your home state or pipeline states. They must be QB or RB.

3. Recruit for 3-4 weeks until you have a prospect in or near the top 3 and look and see who else is recruiting your player by hitting Y on them. You will only recruit that one prospect from now on.

4. Now you can go out of the into the menu and go over to "Coaching Positions" on one of the tabs. Hit A and create a coach. Now once created "find a job" for the empty coach and put it as the team that is trying to recruit your player. Now it will let you control the recruiting for that team. Go into (with the other team) recruiting and find the player you are fighting for. Call him and hit B to exit out of the call. This makes it so you that team gets ZERO recruiting points for the week.

5. IMPORTANT STEP. Go back into the coaching position tab, highlight the team that isnt yours and delete the coach. This makes the game think its still a single team dynasty even though you are controlling 2 teams for a short time. You must do all of this between the weeks and never simulate with 2 teams controlled. Simulate to the next week after the other team is deleted.

6. Do the same thing every week, this basically eliminates the competition and your player will sign with you easily.

Note * Sometimes this even confuses the game to giving you the good team's stats to the lesser school. For instance I got Alabama's stats a few times recruiting while using Vanderbilt lol.

I didn't mess with Teambuilder, I just picked a 2 star school from the dynasty menu. Nevada has a good enough team, both seasons I simed through they got a BCS top 5 finish.

Anyway, you'll probably need to turn the recruit difficulty down to Freshman. Start by making 10 5 star QBs from Nevada and adding them to your recruit list. Make sure to save at this point and turn auto save off. I found having a blank slate to go back to was very important. Sim the games and use 60min pitches each week. I always probed the score range on unknowns, pitched on average or above, and promises and visits on less than average. I decided to save my 3 change options in case I got a bad pitch and didn't have a alternate option. You'll get an idea pretty quick if one of the 5 stars will commit, so hope to be in a top 3 by week 5 and a commit by week 8/9.

First time I did this, USC got half of my recruits in week 1, so I considered it a fluke. Second time, I had all 10 till week 6 when 3 fell off the next 2 weeks. Thankfully in week 9, I got my commit and all the rest committed elsewhere.

Takes some patience, but I found it saves you time and maybe some frustration.

After reading and trying a lot of the different solutions i have come across, none of them worked(i never tried the team builder method, its a waste of MS points IMO). I played around a bit, trying different teams and different ways and methods that i found previously , sorta used them as guidelines. What i came up with is what i think to be the best, fastest, easiest and cheapest way to get this achievement.

1) start a new dynasty and pick IOWA STATE, they have the best stats of any 2 star team and also they have the highest grade for perks of any 2 star team.

2) Go to house rules and change your recruiting difficulty to freshman. Then choose start dynasty.

3) Go to dynasty setup, choose Coach Positions. now create 10 new coaches. Now put each coach on 1 of the 10 6-star teams. Ohio State, Florida, Notre Dame, LSU, Michigan, Penn State, Texas, Alabama, USC and Oklahoma.

4) No go to set up recruiting board and create 10 QBs. Change there home state to IOWA, then change there hometown to Ames. Next put there speed, awareness, throw power and throw accuracy all at 99. once all 10 are made, choose skip to recruiting and lets have some fun.

5) push in on the right stick and use the right or left bumper to select different teams. Now for every team EXCEPT IOWA STATE, go into the recruit plan and change all 3 assistance to OFF. Then chose ESPNU 150 bringing up the top 150 players to recruit. Now for every team EXPECT IOWA select the first 35 that come AFTER all 10 QBs that you created. after you have did this to all the other teams now go ahead and select IOWA STATE. Again go into the recruit plan and turn all 3 assistance off, go into ESPNU 150 and select your 10 QBs only.

6) Go back in to dynasty set up and delete all 10 coaches that you made, leaving only 1 IOWA STATE. Once that is finished select start season.

7) Go into Recruiting and then your recruit board. select 1 of your 10 recruits and spend 60 minutes talking with him. Offer scholarship then for the remaining topics always choose the 2nd choice to "ask", the one which unlocks score range. do that for all 10 and after sim to the next week. now go back and spend another 60 minutes talking to each one, again choosing th 2nd option to "ask". if at anytime it lets your choose which topic to ask, always pick the that is unknown that is closest to the top of the list. also if the 2nd choice is not available, then go and choose make a promise and only select 1 of the top 3. now sim to the next week which is week 3 and repeat everything and sim to week 4. now at week 4 you should have a couple recruit ready to come visit your school. if not they will be ready at week 5. but not starting at week 4 you will now be selecting the 1st choice "make a pitch" when the score is gonna be high, (high, very high, most) if it is not one of those then select change a topic. Now if a recruit is ready to visit, make sure you select the soonest possible date for them to come. if it is in the same week you are currently in, you will need to back out to the recruiting menu, then select recruit board and then choose the recruit for which is visiting in the same week so you can set the activities for his visit. now for the activities you always wanna choose the 3 best choices. now when the week comes for your recruit to visit, YOU MUST WIN THAT GAME. wether if you wanna play it or you wanna start the game and then go to super sim so you can jump in the game and make sure IOWA STATE wins, your choice, but IOWA STATE must win. after the game sim to the next week. back back and do the same thing to all the recruits. until 1 has at least signed and you get the achievement.

The first time i tried this method, i popped the achievement at week 6. The next 2 times i tried this method to verify everything worked i signed my first recruit both at week 5.

I hoped this guide helped out so everyone is not looking at different places and locations for a way that does not work.

I used team builder ( www.easports.com/teambuilder )to make the ultimate team 99 everything on starters, then made all of the starters seniors. I made all of the pitches A+, thus controlling all but two pitches.
Before you start up a season, [edit: definitely change the level of difficulty from the default of varsity to freshman] download your team and then start up the season.
As you start it up put your new team in the SEC switching with Alabama or anyone else. This way you control all but one pitch. The only pitch that you have to watch out for is Proximity to home.
Save your dynasty before going into recruiting. [edit: You can and probably should make 2-3 5 star HB and QB recruits in your home town]
What you are looking for is plenty of 5 star HBs and QBs and then pick them all but do not exceed 10 of them, if you are lucky you will get some of the recruits in your pipeline states.
[edit: You NEED to talk to them 60 minutes every week, and make sure that you have unlocked the MOST and a few of the VERY HIGH topics, and make sure that you at least have a B+ or an A for all of your topics for when they visit you.]

I went a different route to get this achievement. I didn't use TeamBuilder or create any players.

I used Vanderbilt because as a two star school they have a lot of high attributes for recruiting. I chose the lowest ranked five star QB/HB. This makes them less likely to hard commit to a school in the beginning of the season. He was my number one recruit and I spent 60 minutes a week on him. No real pattern on the calls, just getting as many points as I could and comparing to his number one school if Vanderbilt was better.

The main aspect going this route is to win your game each week and for teams above you play their games so they lose. Make sure auto-save is off in-case a game doesn't go the way you need it to. Also I had the recruiting level and gameplay level set to 'Freshman'. I got a five star QB recruit to commit in week 9 going this route.
