How to unlock the Best of All Time achievement in NCAA Football 12 - Definitive Guide

You can get all the RTG leaderboard achievements without playing a single game. What you need to do is go edit Andrew Luck (QB #12) of Stanford and make him a freshman and max out all of his stats. Then start a RTG and then use existing player and choose him (It will warn you about disabling RTG leaderboards but this is online leaderboards only). Now its time to start simming everything. By the end of the 3rd season I had the first two leaderboard achievements and I got the last one during his senior season. If you're lucky like I was you'll get the Heisman Trophy achievement as well :) good luck!

I think Case Keenum is a better option. I tried 2 seasons with Luck and 1 with Moore from Boise and no luck. Im 3 seasons through with Keenum and hes won the Heisman all 3.

Hmm the only thing I can suggest is try again because it worked for me first try so I would think it wouldn't mess up for you a second time. If Andrew Luck isn't working you could always try Case Keenum from Houston like D MILLS 2087 suggested

I just did this achievement myself. I just edited the starting QB of Notre Dame and simulated through the whole season. Just to clear up a few points that I had questions on. Make sure that you pick and edit a starting QB, it can be from any school so long as the school has a decent ofense and defense. Then you can proceed to sim every season to the conference championship week. Then just sim to the end of the season. With the QB from Notre Dame I didnt get the achievement to pop until midway through the 4th season though. Hope this helps.

not to hard to play, you can edit if you want but i just used my own char. just check the "offline" leader boards for what you need to get to. then just remember to try and do as many "acomplishments" in each game..i.e pass for 300 yard and 3 TDs, run for 200 yards and 2 TDs and you'll climb the board in no time

Great advice everyone; I used Case Keenum as a freshman w/ jacked stats and it worked in 3 seasons. I think he may be a touch safer/easier than Luck since his conference is weaker (not that the Pac 12 is all that great, burn).

I don't know why people had trouble with this one. I did exactly as Huggy spelled out, got the first Leaderboard cheevo & the Heisman cheevo the first season. Got the second Leaderboard cheevo in Season 2 (and won the Heisman again). And then got the final Leaderboard cheevo in Season 3 (didn't win the Heisman that season though.

Didn't have to play a game - simmed every single bit of it.

Nice solution, Huggy. Very well done. Kudos!!

Worked great, thanks. I used the Houston QB, in my freshman year my senior WR that caught all of my passes got the Heisman over me, but I got it in my soph, jr and sr years. Also got all 3 leaderboards in the 1st 3 years.

I don't own this game anymore so this may not be quite right. But when you are editing his stats, you should be able to press LT or RT to get to a Personal Info tab where you can change his first/last name or year. I apologize if this isn't quite correct, but it shouldn't be too hard to find if you poke around in the edit player tabs

MISSABLE

To get this trophy you need to earn a spot on the NCAA All-Time leader board. Easiest way to get this trophy is creating a Defensive End (DE), simulate through your high school season and choose a college. Before you start your college career, go into your RTG settings and turn offsides to 0. This will enable you to be in the backfield before the ball is snapped to tackle/sack the QB as the ball is hiked. Depending on how many tackles/sacks you get per game this trophy shouldn't take you any more than 5 games MAX. Along the way to getting this trophy you should earn Campus Legend and Conference King.

In the Road to Glory menu, go to the My Career Tab and select Offline Leaderboards at the bottom. This will show how many points needed to make each of the leaderboards. Select My Accomplishments of the same tab to see how to earn the points and how many points you have earned (Legend Score). The easiest way to do this is to max out the stats for a RE on Notre Dame, use that RE for your RTG, turn off offsides, and keep sacking the QB. You should beable to get this achievement in 4 games using this method.
