How to unlock the Dream Job achievement in NCAA Football 12 - Definitive Guide

Pick a school that is lower than 6 stars prestige as your head coaches alma mater, and then when you pick a team pick that team, and bingo it pops. I personally did Nebraska

Edit: From responses 6-star schools work as well

Edit: Created Schools do not seem to work at this time

6 star prestige works fine, I got it with LSU.

This seems to be a pretty easy one. I made a coach from Michigan then chose Michigan as my school and the cheevo popped.

I don't think this works in some situations with created schools. I made a coach with alma mater Florida Atlantic, then I replace Florida Atlantic with a created school (my real alma mater Boston University, which doesn't have a football team). Since FAU is gone it does display the coach's alma mater as BU, but the achievement didn't pop when I chose to start as the coach of BU

I could see that happening that the logic built in does recognize x = y due to how it may store the information.

Thanks for the 6 star thing, when I scrolled around i never saw a 6-star

Pick New mexico state as your school because it's a one star school.

This achievement did NOT pop for me when I chose Michigan and Michigan.

Another way similar to this is start up a new dynasty with a created coach. When filling out the coaches information, choose the school you plan on being as his alma mater, then choose your team and it should pop. I've done it 3 times now and its worked each time.

Simply make your Alma Mater the same as the team you want to coach. You do this when setting up your Dynasty Coach's profile. Then you just accept whatever contract the school offers.
