How to unlock the Earn My Trust achievement in NCAA Football 12 - Definitive Guide

Earn My Trust - 25gs
Reach the max coach trust in Road to Glory.

*Note* This is the way that I achieved this achievement. There are many different ways to do so, but I found this to be the easiest way for me. There is no quick solution here. This achievement takes time.

Solution:
There are a total of 11 levels of Coach Trust:
(11) 5th String; (10) 4th String; (9) 3rd String; (8) 2nd String; (7) Starter; (6) Veteran Starter; (5) Team Captain; (4) Crowd Favorite; (3) Team Leader; (2) The Hawk; and (1) Team Legend.

There are TWO ways to earn coach trust: 1. Practice and 2. Games. Depending on where you start will decide how much work you have to do. If you start out as a (7) Starter, then you will have less climbing to do. However, starting out as a (8) 2nd String OR LOWER, you will also be able to earn these achievements:
NCAA Football 12Battle TestedThe Battle Tested achievement in NCAA Football 12 worth 27 pointsWin a position battle in Road To Glory

NCAA Football 12Taking the SnapsThe Taking the Snaps achievement in NCAA Football 12 worth 19 pointsBecome a starter in Road to Glory Mode.

This way, you only have to do one RTG playthrough for achievements. NOW... Here's how I did it:

I took a scholarship as a CB with Oregon. Your position and school do not matter AS LONG AS YOU CHOOSE DEFENSE. After signing, if you have not already done so, go to House Rules under RTG Setup, and turn off Offsides as well as Roughing the Kicker. Now... Do all of your practices and all of your games, but when you do so, run around the offensive line, stand next to the QB and tackle him immediately upon him snapping the ball. Also, if you're put on punt or field goal coverage, once the kicker has snapped the ball tackle him/block the kick, and run the ball in if you recover it.

Once you become a starter, it takes 1000 Trust Points to move on to the next level. The most I ever earned in a practice was around 600 and then was easily able to get the remaining 400 in that week's game so that way you can complete each rank in one week. If you start out as a 2nd string, it should therefore take you 9-10 games to attain the rank of Team Legend.

These should be the things you are seeing:
+20 Tackle for Loss
+25 Tackle (I don't know why a regular tackle is worth more than a TFL)
+30 Sack
+10 Defensive Hurry Up

*WORD FOR THE WISE* You can also lose Trust Points during games, even though it doesn't happen often and is easy to make up for. But here is what you MUST watch out for:
-Even though Offsides is not on, Encroachment penalties are still enforced. So, if you run into an opposing player, the flags will fly and you will be penalized -10 trust points.
-If the man you are supposed to defend catches the ball, or if he catches the ball and scores a TD, you will also be penalized.

Continue your season following this method and you will also EVENTUALLY unlock the following achievements as well:
NCAA Football 12Campus LegendThe Campus Legend achievement in NCAA Football 12 worth 26 pointsIn Road to Glory Mode, earn a spot on your team's All-Time leaderboard.

NCAA Football 12Conference KingThe Conference King achievement in NCAA Football 12 worth 79 pointsIn Road to Glory Mode, earn a spot on your conference's All-Time leaderboard.

NCAA Football 12Best of All TimeThe Best of All Time achievement in NCAA Football 12 worth 189 pointsIn Road to Glory Mode, earn a spot on the NCAA All-Time leaderboard.

If there is something I missed, please comment below or message me personally. Again, this is not the only way to get this achievement, but the easiest way for me. Happy hunting!

MISSABLE

Coach Trust is something new in NCAA 12. The tab is located under your weekly options to check your progress. I recommend you play as a QB since they touch the ball more. When you become the starter, you will have 8 ranks to go through to become a Team Legend. In order to move up in rank, you need to earn "Coach Trust Points". You can earn points in practice and in games. You can earn points faster in practice, so make sure to practice every week. You can reach Team Legend by the end of your Freshman season however it is more likely you will earn this sometime in your Sophomore season. Be careful when practicing/playing games. Performing poorly will cost you points.

Point values are as follows:

POSITIVE

+1 per yard gained
+5 good hot route
+10 first down
+25 for tackle
+50 for scoring touchdown

NEGATIVE

-1 per yard lost
-10 bad hot route
-10 for getting sacked
-25 for fumble
-50 for throwing interception

These are not all the values but the main ones if you choose to play as a QB.

Coach trust is essentially leveling up. Everytime you do something (big gains, yards gained, touchdowns) you earn points and start to fill up the bar. When you fill up the bar, you gain a new level. The number of levels is determined by which position you play. The easiest way to earn points is by doing good in practice. Just reach the last level to unlock the achievement.
