This is pretty straight forward. You need to get Gold/Distinction on all events in this DLC.
There are five events as a cop and five as a racer. All are pretty simple but will take you sometime. There are 3 different types of events for the racer but it's the last race called 'Foot to the floor' that can take about 10 minutes as it's 25.2 miles long.
As a cop there are no hard or long events and all are straight forward. Just know your target and use the weapons in the most effective way to get all the racers in a timely fashion to obtain the gold. For rapid response use the brake to help you make turns easily and don't hit anything that isn't bothering you.
To Obtain A Gold: As a racer you will need to compete in 3 different types of events; 'Hot Pursuit', 'Race' and 'Gauntlet'. Each one gives you one or more tasks to complete. In the 'Hot Pursuit' event you will need to battle against cops that try to take you down, while racing against 3-8 other players trying to end the race in first place. The 'Race' event is slightly different from a Hot Pursuit event, there are no cops trying to take you down but there will be other racers trying to finish the race in first. Lastly the 'Gauntlet' event is where you are against the clock and the police. You need to manoeuvrer your way in and out of the police and end the event within the specified time limit.
To Obtain A Distinction: As a cop you will need to compete in different types of events; 'Rapid Response', 'Hot pursuit' and 'Interceptor'. Each event gives you one or more objectives to complete in order to get the Distinction. In the 'Rapid Response' event you will need to race against time to get from point A to point B. In the 'Hot Pursuit' events you will need to wreck and/or apprehend the racers before any of them reach the finish line, you will need to get 6 or 7 racers depending on the event. Lastly the 'Interceptor' events are just like the 'Hot Pursuit' events, only this time there is only one racer and no finish line. There is still a time limit in which you have to wreck the racer in order to get the Distinction. Since the racer can drive anywhere at anytime you must be on the look out for random 180 degree turns and random shortcuts.
