How to unlock the Benched! achievement in NHL 12 - Definitive Guide

Very easy achievement. If you cant manage to knock someone over the boards, just start a Play Now game with 2 controllers. Lock both players as Center (press ‘X’ on the line-up screen) and sit the other players by the boards. Now plow into him and he should tip right over.

You are going to try and wait for a CPU player/Controller 2 to be near or coming along benches, and you are going to be charging for a hit with the to hit the player. A bigger player against a smaller player works best. May take a few tries, but you'll eventually dump over the benches.
