A skate to stick deke is done by holding the left bumper and pulling the Right Stick down. After you do the deke, you must score.

If you are having trouble you can invite a friend into a ranked match so he can move out of the way on the shot.

Xbox live - Community - Lobby - Shootout. Click your friends Gamertage and invite to game.

yeh i completed the skate to stick deke however had to angle for the shot and didnt count

I don't know how to set it up, it won't let me invite a friend and let it be ranked.
Help?

You need to meet up in the same lobby and click on their name and invite to game. Hope this helps

I'll give you a positive vote although it really doesn't need to much explaining lol.

One thing that you may want to add or note is that it seems like you aren't allowed to deke using RS left or right after you complete the skate-to-stick.

I did this one on the 13th and it took me multiple tries. I scored on about 5 different attempts after doing it, but I didn't get it. I was finally able to get it after doing it without moving the RS again (except to shoot) after the completion of the deke.

Another note is that I personally used the Wings as Datsyuk is very very good at the deke and you don't have to worry about losing the puck and ending the run. Zetty was also very effective but I would still lose the puck every so often.

Main Menu > Online > Online Shootout. You want to play against a friend so he can move his goalie out of the way. You also have to search for the game at the same time as them since that’s the only way it will stay ranked. If you need a user to play against check out the Versus/Shootout boosting thread.

To do a skate to skate deke press L1 Button and Right Stick Down down to kick the puck off your skate. When it comes back on your stick shoot with the on the empty net.
