Ranked Match

There is 99 levels. This achievement require you to get to level 25.

You can gain up to 3 levels per win, depending on the lvl of your opponent. I managed to unlock the achievement after a record of 26-12-2.

You can see your progress at the end of each game or in the Xbox Live - Community - Leaderboard menu.

To boost this, find an empty lobby or create your own room under Xbox Live > Community > Lobby. You'll want to set it up so that the losing team is the Legends and the winning team is any minor league team.

The Legends should pull their goalie and let the minor league team score 1-4 goals. Play out the entirety of this game, as you stop earning points if too many wins come from disconnects. Best way to make it go by quick is to have someone win the faceoff, follow the human-controlled player into their end, and just sit there to keep the clock running.

For games two through four, follow the same instructions, but the Legends quit out after two or three minutes of gametime, or once the clock is under 17:00. You earn less points for each subsequent game against the same person with points stopping altogether around the fifth game, so you'll need several people to reach 25 this way.

Rank does not seem to affect this very much; following the above earns you around four or five levels per person.

To add to this, you have to get exactly 25. If you are a high 24 and jump to 26 you will not get it. I went 18-3-1 and jumped 25 to 26. I had to purposely lose.

AFAIK, no one has posted the fact that you can just go to the community/versus lobby and check out someone's versus record there. Odds are if you are somewhat decent and they have a terrible record, OR if they just have a terrible record, you have a decent chance of winning the match.

It might take you time this way to find matches, or let alone someone that will accept your invites (hopefully they don't look at YOUR record/achievement progress as well!)...but I'm up to level 6 already and I've played maybe 6 games or so (winning ~8-0/5-1 each game)

This isn't really a solution, as there are good guides up already, but they left out an important bit of information.

The game you get your level 25 MUST be a win. Your opponent cannot leave/disconnect or you wont get the achievement..

If this happens, simply lose to go back down to 24, then win a full game and there you go!
