How to unlock the Treasure Hunter achievement in Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch - Definitive Guide

The hidden treasure chests are the invisible chests on the world map. Use the spell Seek Fortune to reveal their locations. Move over/around a chest on the map until an exclamation point appears above Oliver's head then press X to receive its contents. There are a total of 100 chests, and you will find them on every continent/island in the world. Check your progress via the Talking Stone in your inventory. Again, these are world map chests only; none of the ones you find in towns or dungeons are required for this trophy.

There are 100 invisble treasure boxes hidden around the world map. You can open them without knowing, but once you get Tengri, you will get the spell Seek Fortune which will show them on the continent/island you're currently on, and cause an exclamation mark to appear over your head when you are near one. As soon as you get Tengri, you can get 95 of them, but you won't have access to the last 5 until near the end of the game. Here's a map of the 100 chests (the red markers) - World Map (IGN).

One thing to note. The boxes around Yule (the ice town) tend to be surrounded by little cliffs and such. You may try to land Tengri near one and get stuck and be unable to call Tengri to you, so you'll have to teleport out.

These chests are scattered throughout the world map. When you get to a new island, simply use magic that allows you to see hidden chests (the 20th symbol in the book of magic "Treasure to Explore").

Chests located in the cities themselves and dungeons are optional for the trophy.

Until the end of the story, only 95 chests are available, and don’t even look for the remaining five before defeating the witch.

Perhaps few people noticed, but on the map in the book there are small keyholes everywhere. They mark the treasures that lie everywhere. It is very useful to know this at the beginning of the game, because there is often equipment for the current character level and collecting them at the end of the game will only benefit the trophy, but not the passage.

There are 100 invisible treasure chests scattered throughout the map of this world. You can open them without knowing it, but as soon as you take Tengri, take the Seek Fortune spell, which will show them on the continent/island you are currently on, and when you approach the invisible chest above your head an exclamation point will appear. The faster you find Tengri, the faster you'll get 95 chests, but you won't have access to the last five of them until near the end of the game. One hundred chests are marked on the map (in red).
