How to unlock the into dreams... achievement in NiGHTS into dreams... - Definitive Guide

This achievement is not as bad as it seems. A bit of practice, memorization and discipline go a long way for getting this achievement. Here are some things you need to know before you start going for your A ranks.
**Linking**
You have to link as much as you can, this should go without saying. To extend links collect blue orbs or stars, and go through hoops. The best advice I can give to big links is to make good use of the looping and boost (A button). Looping grabs a cluster of items and gives you a bit of a delay before they are added to your link, allowing you to go longer distances without breaking your link.
**Bosses**
It's best to learn how to quickly defeat a boss, the reason being is that the quicker you beat it, the higher the multiplier will get, up to x2. This takes the score you got from the level and multiplies it. Also, if a boss has a chance to be one-shot (Like by looping it's tail) my advice would be to not do that unless you're really good. You'll get hit more often than not.
**Acrobat Rings**
These can give you a HUGE boost in score if you know how to get the "DREAMY !!!" rating/achievement. Simply press LB/RB as much as possible on a slanted ceiling and watch your score go up. For more information visit here:

**Ideya Captures**
Also known as the blue squid things.Get these things down as soon as possible. Like everything else in this game, the faster the better. Not only does this give you a bonus for blowing it up, but every loop you enter, and item you pick up has a x2 multiplier attached to it. This is fantastic if you get an acrobat ring because you can potentially get 2000 x2 score.
Now that I got some of the basics out of the way I will be posting videos of Elliot and Claris' stages and boss fights. These are done by Kheapatchic on youtube and I take no credit for his great work. I hope this advice and these videos help you get your A ranks.

Getting an A rank is actually easier than it sounds.
The first thing you should do is collect 20 blue orbs as fast as possible and give it to the jellyfish. Now don't continue onto the next section yet, try to build up as many points with the time left on the clock.
The easiest way to get points is by getting as many links as possible without breaking the chain. Sometimes you'll come across a blue and yellow ring which sends you into a sort of a bonus time, when this happens quickly fly to the top of the stage and mash L1 and R1 as fast as you can and you'll build a ridiculous amount of points. That alone should be enough to get an A rank.
If you don't have an A rank already by the time you reach the boss it's not too late, simply beat the bosses as fast as possible to get the highest multiplier.
