Like the rest of the game, the boss is the real difficult part. This strategy will help you beat him easily:
This is a tough boss battle. You have to push Gulpo out of the aquatic
chamber. You have to get inside the fishes that are around the chamber. Then
you dash through the chamber. If you shoot at the right time, you'll push
Gulpo. Keep repeating and sooner or later, he'll be out of the chamber.

On a rerun of this level to get the mystic garage thing, and A rank the level, the boss turned out to be Reala instead...i mean no complaints because he's easier to get a 2.0x than gulpo...but it's really odd. Any explanation on the boss change??

I'm not 100% sure. Did you change to saturn mode or something? I'll look into it more. Perhaps they are only they are only *usually* the boss I note. I've never experienced this though.
