Okay, before I begin let me start by saying "No. It's not that hard".
Yes I agree the controls for the fan is terrible but it's not hard to understand how it works.

To rotate the fan, simply rotate your slowly in the direction you'd like to go. To move forward, just push left, right, up or down on the depending on which way you're facing. The control for this is terrible but doable.

With that said what you need to do is take control of a remote control fan to move the colored boxes to their designated color pit. During the rounds there will also be stone boxes that fall and are meant to block your path.
I highly suggest taking control of a Doza at the start of every round to destroy them as they will clump up and not only will they block your path, but they will also cause you to tip over sometimes making it impossible to proceed. Also, make sure to NEVER mix colors or it's an automatic game over, and make sure to watch out for the bottom right conveyor belt as sometimes a box of the wrong colore might land on it and fall in. One last note. Sometimes you might pick up 2 of the same color. Now I know it's not the easiest thing to do but try to keep both of them in the fan as it will help to get them off the board faster.
