Payday: The Heist

There are 12 guards patrolling at the start of the Diamond Heist. You need to kill all guards with the trip mines. The player who kills all 12 guards will get the trophy. So this trophy is best done on single-player mode without AI to avoid someone else killing a guard. You can kill several guards with one trip mine.

You will unlock the trip mines in reputation 4 of the Sharpshooter tree. This will however only give you one trip mine. You can increase the amount of trip mines by unlocking upgrades from the Sharpshooter tree. You can get a maximum of 10 trip mines at reputation 47. The list below describes the reputation needed and how many trip mines that you will have.

• Trip Mine - Rep 4, 1 trip mine
• Amount Increase I - Rep 14, 2 trip mines
• Amount Increase II - Rep 22, 3 trip mines
• Amount Increase III - Rep 29, 5 trip mines
• Amount Increase IV - Rep 36, 6 trip mines
• Amount Increase V - Rep 42, 7 trip mines
• Amount Increase VI - Rep 47, 10 trip mines

Since there are only 10 trip mines and you need to kill 12 guards, you have to kill at least two guards with one trip mine. The trophy is doable with only 6 or 7 trip mines, but will be very hard to pull off.

The easiest way to get kills with the trip mines is to sound the alarm by letting a guard see you and then try to group several guards at the same time. This can be done by running around the area. When a group of guards are running towards you, place a mine in front of you so the guards will run towards the mine. You can't be hurt by the splash damage. Just as the guards are near the trip mine, shoot it with your gun to activate it and the guards will be killed by the splash damage. Repeat this for the remaining guards. This way you can even get four guards with one trip mine if you are lucky.

As soon as all 12 guards are killed by you alone, you will get the trophy. Note however if you are doing this trophy with friends, you can't jump into their ongoing game. You have to play from the very beginning of the heist.
