You need to gain a reputation level and have the Sharpshooter tree selected after your last kill is a sniper. Snipers can be found in all heists in any difficulty. The snipers can be distinguished when they shoot from their sniper rifle because the shot will leave a red tracer trail for a couple of seconds.

To choose the Sharpshooter tree you have to hold down the button while you are in a heist. Then press the button which will select the Sharpshooter tree. You will gain cash by completing objectives and challenges. Once you have collected a certain amount of cash, you will gain a reputation. Below the profiles in the bottom, left corner of the screen you will see a yellow progress bar. This will tell you how much cash you will need to gain a reputation level.

You can get this trophy either on single-player mode with AI or in multiplayer mode. Single-player is probably safer since you won't get reputation from the other teammates which could result in you gaining a reputation level before you manage to kill a sniper. Gather enough cash so that you only have a few dollars left until you gain a reputation level. Then simply find and kill a sniper, for example in the First World Bank heist outside the bank where they hide behind the cars. Then don't kill any enemies at all and only complete objectives so you will earn cash. Once you reach a new reputation level you will get the trophy.

If you reach reputation 48 in the Sharpshooter tree, you have maxed that skill tree. Then you won't be able to get this trophy unless you reset your stats. Make a backup of your save by copying it to PSN Cloud or on a USB flash drive and then go to 'Options' and 'Clear Progress' from the main menu. Once you get the trophy, you can copy back your save.
