How to unlock the Grand Explorer achievement in PlayStation Home - Definitive Guide

There are plenty of unique spaces that you can visit for free in the app, within the navigator menu you can find all the spaces you need.

I found most of mine from the 'Latest' menu and 'Highlights' menu and also the 'Browse' menu, simply find a new space you havnt visited and press cn_X to download and visit it. Make sure the space has fully loaded before leaving to the next. (WWW symbol has disappeared)

Here's a list of the spaces I visited:
Home Square
Acorn Meadows Park 'St Patricks Day
PS Talent
Atom Republic Park
Home Tycoon Train Station
The PS4 Experience
The Casino Concourse
Harbour Studio (Your apartment)
Bowling Alley
Auditorium 6
Audi Concert Hall
Aurora 1.8
Novus Prime
No Man's Land: Drydock
Killer Plants From Outer Space
The Western Frontier
Sodium 2
Dragon's Green
Pier Park
D2O District

You'll need to visit a variety of spaces to get free items anyway so going back and fourth would just waste your time.

Well, I have wasted a lot of time going between all the spaces. We need a definitive list of areas that give you items. For instance, for the 3 companion items everyone says visit Aurora, but where the f*** is Aurora! Spent DAYS searching. Finally found it under "nDreams". We need more detail.

Thing I noticed is that the EU and US PS home is completely different making it very hard to compile a list

Do all 20 need to be visited in one session? I've attempted 3 times now over various plays and nothing.

Yeah I do. I actually go walking around a bit before moving on. I guess I will try the method of going to 20 different locations.

Asidiko13, try walking out your main house door and back in 20 times. That's what another guide said.

Another guide on ps3trophies.com contributed by gamelord-2007 & Marccap said:

"Despite saying you need to visit 20 "Unique" spaces, you can actually do this just by going back and forth between two spaces"

I visited 20 different spaces so I can't verify this method.

All you have to do is visit 20 different places. The hardest/longest/most annoying part about this trophy is downloading the new areas. Simply choose any 20 areas and once you have visited 20th one, the trophy will pop. I recommend going to at least the following places since you will need to go there while working on other trophies anyway:

1) Aurora
2) The Complex
3) The Complex 2
4) The Casino: Concourse
5) Acorn Park
6) MIB Headquarters
7) Pottermore Diagon Alley
8) Sony Music Unlimited
9) x7 Club
10) Mall Floor One
11) Mall Floor Two
12) The Casino Complimentary Hotel Room

For the other 8 just pick any other areas that suit your fancy, The HUB, any of the four core districts or any of the developer/publisher worlds.

As recommended by Warbear:

For this trophy, I would recommend downloading whilst in your Harbor Studio. Trying to download in a public space will sometimes queue your downloads. Also downloading in a private space is much much faster.

You can visit 9 locations at once in the cinema, simply by entering different cinema halls. They are small and of the same type, so they load faster.
