How to unlock the Never Leave A Bear Behind achievement in Polar Panic - Definitive Guide

For this achievement, you have to save every polar bear and destroy every snowman in each level. This does not have to be done in one go, you can go back to levels for bears or snowmen you missed, but must be done in one difficulty setting. The amount of bears/snowmen in each level are as follows:
Chapter 1: 0 Bears/ 5 Snowmen
Chapter 2: 4 Bears/ 3 Snowmen
Chapter 3: 1 Bear/ 4 Snowmen
Chapter 4: 4 Bears/ 3 Snowmen
Chapter 5: 3 Bears/ 3 Snowmen
Chapter 6: 8 Bears/ 1 Snowman
Chapter 7: 2 Bears/ 3 Snowmen
Chapter 8: 9 Bears/ 0 Snowmen
Chapter 9: 3 Bears/ 3 Snowmen
Chapter 10: 10 Bears/ 3 Snowmen (although, I have 4/3 Snowmen, go figure...)
-Thanx to 'Nick Nguyen' for pointing out the achievement won't unlock until you have defeated the final boss.

Probably the hardest bear to save is in Chapter 10, Stage 3. This is the bear that took me the longest. The way to obtain this is finish the level as normal but don't exit (obviously), and press all the switches with ice blocks for the first bear. In the enclosed area that has the first bear, there is an indent to the right that has a timed switch (this is near to impossible to see). After you press that, you have 10 seconds to dash down the bottom (might be a good idea to clear all the ice from the middle before you try this) to save the other bear.

Things to remember:
Snowmen are often hidden behind pipes or other parts of the scenery, but are always slightly visible, stay vigilant.
Most switches needed to open areas with bears behind them are at the edges, but require more than 1 ice block to activate, don't destroy to many ice blocks (or get too many stuck in corners) when killing the trappers.
Destroying trapper generators is always faster than killing trappers, and saves on ice blocks.
In later levels, should you need to use the dynamite to destroy a block, you can get the bomb throwing trapper to do it for you.
This is officially the first guide to this achievement on the internet (you don't have to remember that one XD)

That extra snowman on chapter 10 made it unlock when it shouldn´t. Still have one snowman on another chapter to get.

Ok, so just figure it out after many tries. I still don't know how to get the bomb over to the stone block in time so I used an alternative way. Speed is key here, I felt I had less time than most other levels. What you want to do is to to try and take everything out as fast as you can except the Explosives Trapppers plus the first 4 trapper generators to make this easier on yourself. There is a snowflake in the middle right that will help you out here, I used it after almost clearing out the first section.

Now once everything is gone but the Explosive Trappers go up to the wall that has them blocked in and destroy it. Next lure them over to the stone wall that needs destroyed until you can get them to throw an explosive next to it by standing by it and then running away once you see the red target on the ground. Then quickly kill the rest of the trappers so they don't get to you while you are freeing your bear friends. Hardest level in my opinion but doable after some practice. This trick is also handy for destroying the stone walls in other levels with the Explosive Trappers.
