How to unlock the Realm of the Undine achievement in Primal - Definitive Guide

Story Related, can't be missed.

Adaro is the only boss of the Aquis realm. He's fairly easy to defeat, especially since you should be used to the underwater controls by now. He has 2 phases that he continuously repeats throughout the fight:

  • During the first phase, Adaro will keep shooting some sort of black ink at you. To avoid it, simply swim towards him in a zig-zag pattern. When you get to him, you'll have to fully deplete his health bar. Use Jen's whip attack () to your advantage as it can stun Adaro and keep your distance while continuously attacking him with it and occasionally blocking in case he manages to attack you. When his health bar is fully depleted, he will now switch to his second phase.
  • During the second phase, Adaro will be busy regenerating his health and won't be attacking you. You'll know if he's still regenerating his health when you see him glow green. You should take advantage of this break to help Screen turn 1 of 6 wheels (you can actually turn 2 wheels per second phase if you're fast enough). If you're having trouble finding him, you can open the map in order to see his exact location. Try your best to be quick and make sure you turn at least 1 wheel per second phase. Helping Scree is hard (but not impossible) to do during the first phase because Adaro's black ink will interrupt you, which is why it's better to do so during the second phase (unless you're using the "Easykill" cheat during this fight - please see the Note below for more information). When you see Adaro's black ink being fired at you again, this means that the second phase has ended and the first has started again, so immediately stop helping Scree.

After turning the sixth wheel, Scree will say something like "I think that's all of them." At this point, you must swim to Adaro and fully deplete his health bar one last time in order to finish this fight.

Note: If you're fighting Adaro with the "Easykill" cheat activated, make sure you turn all six wheels before hitting him, as it is required for story progression! If you hit him before turning all six wheels, the boss fight will immediately end and you won't get a chance to turn those wheels afterwards. Moreover, you won't be able to switch between Jen and Scree (you'll get a red exclamation mark in the top right corner of the screen if you try to do this), and since Scree will be required to climb the upper half of the Purification Tower, this means that you won't be able to get to the top of the tower. So once again, be careful when fighting that boss and make sure you turn all six wheels first!

In case you do get hit by this glitch, then simply reloading an earlier save will fix it since it will put you back before or at the start of the boss fight. Just make sure you follow the instructions above if you intend to use the "Easykill" cheat during this fight.
