How to unlock the Sinking to New Depths! achievement in Prince of Persia - Definitive Guide

Stand in the desert and look at the tree of light temple. Now instead of walking to it, walk around to the left of it. You will see a little alcove, walk in you will drop down a little bit. ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED!!!! Sinking to new depths, EASY!!!

here is a video that I found on youtube and is very usefull in my opinion because this is a missable achievement, you can do this when it's still 'dark'.

The lowest point in the world is near the Tree Of Life. When you're in front of the Temple/Tree, looking towards the Tree, start walking around the left side of the Tree. Keep close to the wall and eventually you'll find a small passageway with a dead end, the last bit is several feet lower than the rest of the area. Drop down to get the trophy.

Whilst facing the temple walk towards the stairs on the left and follow the wall around until you reach a small underground passage.

This is a nice, easy trophy that can be gained at pretty much any time. When outside the Temple and facing away from it, run to the bottom of the stairs and hang right then hug the wall and you will come to a small crevice so drop down into it and follow it until you hit a dead end. Your trophy will pop soon afterwards, here's a video showing exactly what to do. Credit to PringlesForAidan:
