How to unlock the Close Call achievement in Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - Definitive Guide

This is unlocked by rewinding when you believe the prince is about to die. Make a jump you know you won't survive and before the screen turns white, rewind. This will unlock the achievement.

It even gives you a prompt of "click RB to rewind time" so really it's a fairly easy achievement

It didn't seem to pop when used pre-maturely, wait for the prompt first, and then rewind and it'll pop. :3

small addition: to get the trophy you need the screen to start turning red and only then use the Power of Time ( )

As soon as you receive the Power of Time, there will be a place where the floor under the prince breaks and he falls into the abyss. Click to rewind time and save the prince.
