How to unlock the Completist achievement in Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - Definitive Guide

Here is a pretty easy trick for this. Once you beat the game, you unlock the Enemy Tides mode. You can earn extra experience orbs (about 400-500 per go through) each time you beat that mode and level up your powers there. Mind you, if you fail to beat the mode, you'll lose any experience orbs and powers you unlocked during it so you have to beat all 8 waves each time for it to count.

It might be a little time consuming and repetitive, but it's an easy way to do it, especially since by the time you beat the game, you should have no problems with the eight enemy waves.

Also, you can cash in U-play points to give yourself two extra levels. Be sure to wait until late-game before cashing this in, since the experience required to level is higher in late-game.

My game was super glitched. Many times after spending a point then dying before a checkpoint I would find I still had the points and the skill I bought. It didn't always happen, I couldn't make it happen, but I had the cheev before even *spoilers* getting the talking sword. Weird, but I'm not complaining!

After beating the game I only needed 5 levels to max out. I did this method and had everything in under 15 mins. Not as much of a grind as you made it out to be, but still, awesome method.

Also, for people that try this, the ice element is your best friend. On rounds 4 and up when you have the mini boss fights the ice attacks drop them incredibly fast. Over the three rounds I did I averaged about 4 mins and 30 secs for all 8 rounds and received 2 levels each time I went in. Easy peasy.

OR you could do the time trial challenge mode. You get to kill 250 enemies that drop 1 or more orbs each. After you beat the game you'll have a bunch of upgrades allready, so it should be easy. I got 2-3 levels each time i played, so it didn't take more than about 20 minutes for me to get the last levels i needed.

Now it is on time, so the best thing to do is to is upgrade whirlwind and stone armour to the max. Also try to get the more blue orb dropped. That will give you plenty of powers to use.

The shielded enemies can be a bitch when you're on time, so use whirlwind whenever youre surrounded. It will also blind the titan at the end and the large monsters you meet while in the middle. the stone armour will keep you safe so you don't have to worry about the titan finishing you off at the end.

Do this and you'll have this achievement pretty soon!

I am suprised this hasnt happened to anyone else but this glitch is in the game and it works everytime... the below method will cut the grind out of this achievement.... Once you gain a level spend your xp on what ever you want then move on to an autosave area once the game saves die on purpose then when you respawn it will say you need like 5xp to level up instead of the full amount need for the next upgrade and your last upgrade will remain just as you had it before the save point... now just go lill an enemy or 2 and you can level up again and repeat the above steps.... you will have all upgrades super fast this way and during regular gameplay.

This worked out GREAT! Note you dont have to die, you can simply load up the last check point in the pause menu. I always needed between 16 and 4 exp to get to the next level, so every save point (with enemies) I was able to level up quickly netting me this considerably earlier than I should have during my first play through.

Works perfectly in the Games on Demand version so I assume it's unpatched. Thanks, very helpful.

Gaining levels it's not hard anyway, but this no doubt should be the top solution!

It still works, im doing it now as im writing this. Thumbs up.

The only correction i have is that the xp needed to lvl up after chechpoint reload is different each time i do it, between 20 and 60 for me so far (its a lot better then the 200 it said i would need before i reloaded the chechpoint).

If you missed
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten SandsUntouchableThe Untouchable achievement in Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands worth 67 pointsDefeat Ratash in the Throne Room wihout taking any damage.

I recommend just starting a new game, the upgrades are saved to your profile, not your story progression. So no need to repeat the Enemy Tides mode as you will get about 4-6 upgrades before reaching Ratash anyway

This is more of a follow on from the ‘Elemental Control’ trophy, but this time you will need to upgrade all of your powers and any other abilities in the upgrade menu. You won’t get this through playing the main story so you will need to do something extra. After the main story is complete go to the main menu and go down to ‘Enemy Tides Challenge’, this is a challenge where you need to battle 8 waves of enemies, please see the ‘Prince Of Tides’ trophy above for a lot more information.

I have listed below all of the abilities that can be purchased. I have listed them from left to right as they are shown in the upgrade Menu:

Aerial Boost – Increases Damage On Slash Attacks
Battle Fury – This Maximises Your Sword Damage - This helps alot as you get more into the game. The enemies will be tougher and have a bit more health. This helps on all of the boss battles, especially the ones with the two missable trophies.
Battle Rage – This Increases Damage From Basic Sword Attacks - See 'Battle Fury'
Trail Of Flame – This Has 4 Levels Of Upgrades
Stone Armour – This Has 4 Levels Of Upgrades - Helps greatly throughout the game and with the two missable boss trophies
Health Increases – This Has 4 Levels Of Upgrades - As the game goes on the enemies will get tougher and deal more damage. Upgrade this to give you a chance at surviving much longer
Double Energy – Enemies And Vases Give Double Energy Spheres
Double Health – You Will Get Health Spheres Twice As Often
Flow Upgrade – This Increases The Time You Can Freeze Water - If you want to have more chance of getting the 'Stay Dry' trophy then upgrade this.
Time Power – This Increase The Amount Of Time You Can Rewind
Energy Slots – This Has 4 Levels Of Upgrades - This is mostly needed to help use powers more often. Upgrade this to defeat enemies by using your powers, especially useful when going for the two missable boss trophies.
Whirlwind – This Has 4 Levels Of Upgrades
Ice Blast – This Has 4 Levels Of Upgrades
Flight Boost – When You Use The Flight Boost, A Blast Of Energy Will Damage Nearby Enemies
Heavy Kick – When You Kick An Enemy Down, They Will Stay Down For Longer
Power Attack Upgrade – This Increases Damage To Your Power Atacks

TIPS:

If you go to extras in the main menu you can log into a thing called ‘Uplay’. This allows you to buy content using points you have earned through this game and other games, Assassins Creed 2 for example.

Fro the Uplay menu, go left to ‘Win’ & down to ‘Rewards’. From there I recommend you buy two things that will help towards this trophy, they are:

Experience Points Boost – If you buy this then you will get a big boost in xp. You can then use this xp to unlock more upgrades. I managed to buy two more upgrades from doing this, so it cut down on the amount of times I played in the challenge arena.

New Challenge Arena – This is another challenge arena and in my opinion it is much better for gaining xp than the other one. This one is a Time Trial, you have 6 minutes 30 seconds to kill 250 enemies. Because there are more enemies there is more xp to be had!

In principle, you cannot purchase all the upgrades in one playthrough, but you shouldn’t be upset. After the end of the game, the “Enemy Waves” mode opens in the main menu in the “Challenge Mode” sub-item. Here you can play as much as you like until you improve all your abilities.

Advice: when you first launch the toy, and after some playing time you will have the opportunity to improve your abilities, first upgrade “Stone Armor” (this is the green color in the abilities improvement menu). At least before the first fight with Ratash, you should raise the "Stone Armor" to level 4. This will make it easier for you to get two of the most difficult trophies in the game (relative to others, of course) - these are the "Untouchable" and "Invincible" trophies / Invincible."

In fact, in one playthrough you can upgrade all abilities without any problems. I succeeded at about 80% of the game.

You can buy 2 upgrade balls through the Uplay app for 20 points if you are registered there. Only this game has a beta version and the application always freezes while loading. But I went through Assassin's creed Rogue (you can also through another ubisoft game, which has a link to Uplay) and in the list of games I selected Prince of Persia, where progress and rewards that can be bought opened up.

For those who didn’t manage to level up everything in one playthrough, don’t worry about testing waves of attacks 5 times and you’ll level up everything..

Actually, you don’t have to die, you hit 300, swing, reach the check point, press options, select loading from the last check point, and voila, until the next point there are 15-20 orbs, and so on. We reached the check point, select loading from the last check point, and so on until the victory, until you level up.

You don't have to die, just after receiving a skill point, go to the first autosave and immediately load the last checkpoint. There are from 12 to 80 experience left until the next level.

There is a fairly easy way to level up on your first playthrough, without making any effort. I actually discovered a bug (or maybe this was intended); After receiving a skill point, we need to improve some ability, after that we reach a checkpoint!) and immediately die (we fall from a cliff into a cliff or just from enemies) and bam, after that, until the next skill point we need only 10-40 exp (instead of 240-300). We do this all the time during the game and most likely, even by the middle, you will be completely pumped.

You can purchase all upgrades in one playthrough if you play on easy difficulty. And closer to the final battle you will receive this trophy.
