How to unlock the David and Goliath achievement in Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - Definitive Guide

The Titan is not the Elephant-like enemy you fight early in the game, the titans do not show up until towards the end of the game: they are very large enemies with a giant club, and a health bar shows up on the screen as you fight them.

Attack the titan's legs until it gets down to half health - it will kneel down. Get behind it and jump, which will start the aerial slash animation - wait until your sword flashes yellow before hitting X to execute the titan.

At this point you can reload your last checkpoint if you want to get this achievement done right away, or you can simply keep playing as there are more than 5 titans through the story.

If you played through the story mode already, there's a titan in the 8th round of enemy tides, so you can play that repeatedly to get the kills.

Here's a video I found of a titan being killed by aerial slash

Thought I had missed the chance on getting this unless I wanted to start a new game - then I saw your tip on replaying the Enemy Tides challenge. 4 rounds of aerial-slashing the Titan later, boop! Achievement unlocked. Cheers!

These are the large standing titans. When they reach half health they will bend over. Jump on them from behind and mash the attack button as you can fail to hit them if they manage to grab you.

Do this 5 times and you'll get the achievement. There are more than 5 titans to try it on so don't worry about missing one or two because you can still do this in Trail mode.

jazza, i was having the same problem. Do not mash the X button, press it when the dagger is glowing, then it will count.

About 2/3rds of the way through, you will get to the "Ruins of Rekem".

Your character should be quite a hard dude by now, and after the cut scene, you get a Titan and some skeletons. Activate stone armour and just power attack his legs (hold X), until he kneels down. Then jump up on him (A) triggering a cutscene, and hit X when the Prince's sword flashes white light.

After this, just let the skeletons kill you, don't rewind time, and the checkpoint start is where the Titan spawns. As a result, if you want to, you can knock this out in 5 minutes.

These are first encountered in the ‘Ruins Of Rekem’ section. The titans come out of the ground and wield a club/sword like weapon in one hand. To be able to perform an aerial slash on the titan you firstly need to get its life down to less than halfway, just do this by attacking it in any way you choose. When you see the titan kneel down on one knee you know it is time to do the aerial slash.

To initiate the move simply press when next to the titan to jump up onto it, then press . The prince will then jump up ready to strike, when you see his sword flash with a bright shine press again & this will finish the titan off.

I believe I counted 7 titans through the normal game play so you can miss 2 and still get the trophy. However, if you missed more than 2, don’t worry because you can get another chance at killing them in the challenge mode that is located in the main menu.

These are the healthiest of ordinary enemies, they crawl out of the ground with a huge sword. During the game I met about 7-8 of them (if you miss them, you can then, after finishing the entire game, get them in the arena in the “Waves of Enemies” mode - this will be the last 8th wave - the arena can be restarted an infinite number of times) . The idea is to reduce their life to at least half (twirl between his legs and a little behind him, the best tactic, he will never reach you unless he stamps his foot), then he will be knocked down and you need to get behind him back, then press , then the prince climbs onto his back, jumps beautifully and then press . This is such a simple combination. This way you need to kill 5 titans.
