How to unlock the Sand Nemesis achievement in Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - Definitive Guide

You can either struggle to do this with many of the sand skeletons during the game OR you can wait until you get to opening the staircase to the city of the Djinn (Rekem).

There is a huge round room where a single scarab like creature will fly out of the ground. Hit it and then soon hundreds will start to pour out. They are easily taken out in one hit to do a few smashes and this achievement will unlock very quickly.

Thanks so much. I actually got angry when I looked up another solution that said "you might get this without trying." Like hell I might! Thanks again!

Thanks so much. Took me couple tries to get the technique but then I got this and all four elemental kill achievements in 2 minutes. Great solution!

I think the best way is to stand above the place where the scarabs spawn and just keep slashing till you get it

I agree with Gjot, This is way easier when immediately starting to smach every scarab you can as soon as it flies in.

The scarab method is a good one, but I found that there were simply too many and that they surrounded me...

However...near the end of the game there's a sequence where enemies will keep on attacking you on down a massive external spiral staircase. By this time your sword will be able to slice through foes like butter so engage the front rank, roll back to avoid any slashes and repeat. The path is too narrow for them to rush or flank you and they;ll telegraph their attacks waaaay in advance. One minute later and you're done!

Simply adding to atheistiums's Solution its alot easier to just stand right on the hole that bugs come out of and just mash your X button till they come out. I did this and got it in about 10 seconds haha =]

Another good place is soon after you enter the sewers, you'll be fighting a sorceror who summons normal skeleton enemies. When you kill one, he summons another one. Rather than kill him, do a lot of dodging and wall-running, and you can get this.

If you haven't unlocked this achievement by the time Razia becomes part of the sword just wait till you reach a large room where the skeletons keep being created (just after a corridor of swinging blade traps), as Phunky Phant said your sword takes out enemies very quickly by this point and even shielded enemies are beatable without using the kick (Y) button.

I got this achievement here simply my mashing X making sure I didn't get to close to the guys that make more skeletons until I killed 50.

I found the best way to get this achievment was in the rooftop gardens right where sarcioghagus 13 is you are on a round platform with waterfalls on either side and there are 3 sorceror's that keep summoning enemies I killed 2 of the sorceror's and left one alive that way you only have to deal with 3 skely's at a time was very easy to do this way and it's a big enough area to keep rolling to keep a good distance......dont get to close to the summoners becuase they will do a shockwave hit and ruin your streak

Good luck!

A place I found was good to do this was just after you talk to Razia and learn the Power of Flight after defeating Ratash in the Throne Room. There are five skeleton guards across a ledge that constantly respawn if you go back across to where you orginally were. You can jump down from the ledge to get back across without damaging your health. You will always kill one of them while doing a flight kill and the other four are easy to take down :)

If you don't have this achievement by the end of the game, after you get the last sarcophagus (or once you have entered the tower at the end of the game) there is a cut scene where three of the "summoner" enemies have joined hands and are spawning tons of enemies in a sand room. I got SAND NEMESIS, DEATH FROM ABOVE, AIR TIME, and ATTACK FROM ALL ANGLES on my first (and only) run-through.

I found this to be extremely easy right before you enter the Djinn City you come to the area with the puzzle where you line up the statue using the flowing water, before you begin the puzzle dozens of scarabs burst up out of a hole in the middle of the room, most of the time the scarabs take their sweet time attacking and when a certain amount dies more pour from the hole. So just sit there constantly pressing the attack button near the hole to kill the scarabs and this achievement should pop before all the scarabs are even dead.

Lots of solutions already but this is fairly easy to get when in challenge mode..I missed it in the game so this was my only option other than starting again. I went into Time Challenge, took a few attempts but not hard.

The easiest way i found to completing this achievement was to first complete the game, or at least half way. then go to the uplay menu and buy the challeng mode add-on.

you are in a large room with lots of space to move. stay well back from the enemies and charge your attack for a power hit then when they come hit them and roll back.continue to do this untill u kill around 40 enemies then small flying scarabs come from all angles. this is the only tricky part. simply keep tapping X and after a few enemies you will have the achievement.

If you find the scarabs hard to defeat withoutbeing hit from behind when they arrive quit to he main menu and start over and your streak will continue, so you have 40 kills then quit before the scarabs hit you and go back to the start. the reason i ound this is because the first time the scarabs hit me and i carried on killing a few before i quit then came back on and only killed 45 when i got the achievement. this mode is also better because it tells you how many you have killed

I did on THE BATHS, or like the Prince says the place they call "Oasis", which is a very short "level", pretty much a big square room where you'll have to fight about 5 sorcerers and tons of skeletons. You will recognize this as soon as you walk into it, no problem.

Just get a bit familiar with the room because it's frustrating to get stuck while running away from the monsters' touch and remember not to use powers.

What I did was I held cn_X, waited for them to approach and then released it. It took a while, but not very long and if you're like me, we rather do all the achievements as soon as possible in the story.

Last advice, if you haven't realized it by now, the cameras on this game are a bit annoying, sometimes not giving you the best possible angle. So, make sure no one is behind you nor about to attack without you being aware of.

If this solution helped your hunt, a thumbs up is appreciated as feedback.

This achievement is incredibly easy to get when you first enter the baths in the main game. After activating the switch 2 summoners will appear and begin to start spawning skeletons.

What you want to do is stick to the path on the edge of the pool, charge your power attack and wait for a group of skeletons to approach; when they do release X to do a power attack and immediately roll away from the group with B, rolling twice if you want to be on the safe side.

Then just get a comfortable distance away from the approaching group, sticking to the outside edge of the pool and continue to use power attacks followed by rolling away, do this enough and you'll have your achi.

By following the outside edge of the pool rather than running through it you can avoid the summoners altogether which stops you killing them (thus letting them keep spawning skeletons for you to kill), and not be subjected to their more powerful attacks.

About a third of the way through the game you'll find yourself in a very large room with a shallow pool of water in the middle. The Prince will make a comment about an "oasis" so you know you're in the right place.

When you approach the door at the far end of the room, a mob of skeletons and a few summoners (glowing guys) will appear.

Wait for the skeletons to get close to you, and then hold down X to do a charged attack; if you're lucky you'll knock down a bunch of skeletons and will probably kill a couple at the same time.

If a skeleton is preparing to strike, press B to roll away. Also stay out of the corners and always keep the enemies in front of you. All the enemies are really slow here, so it's not hard to keep a safe distance and then move in for a quick slash or two.

Don't kill the summoners, since they're the ones who keep bringing in enemies. Save them for the end, after the achievement has unlocked.

Since enemies will keep spawning in this room as long as summoners are active, just stay in this area and keep at it.

This trophy isn’t as hard as it may sound. The best way to go about it is to find a big room with a decent amount of enemies, then just take your time and swing away. I recommend a place called ‘The Baths’ which can be found later on in the story.

Just try and use the power attack ALL the time. Just hold and when a set of enemies approach you let go, then move back a bit more and repeat. If it looks like you are about to be hit then just roll towards the enemy attacking you, this will put it off and stop the attack meaning you won’t lose health. Just remember you CAN’T use the following things:

Stone Armour – ()
Flame Trail – ()
Whirlwind On – ()
Ice Blast – ()
Power Of Time – ()

The easiest way to get the trophy is when you meet the beetles for the first time, hit right and left without stopping with each blow, killing the beetles, but if you don’t get the trophy, load the checkpoint.

Note: You can take damage, but you cannot miss with the sword and use the magical abilities of the sand.

The ideal place to get the trophy is the Baths location. After you open the gate, a whole crowd of skeletons and three magicians will fall out to you, who constantly summon them. The tactic is this: always keep your distance from the crowd by pressing While the skelaths cover the distance, press and hold to perform a powerful circular sword strike, then again move away from the crowd so that no one can hit you. Don't touch the magicians yet, they will replenish the cannon fodder as much as you need to get the trophy.
