Warning since no one is putting this in there guides if you get hit on 2nd part where there are enemies he spawns. you will be glitched if you reload last checkpoint it loads you back up on ledge with no way down and you will have to redo whole thing. just wanted to give heads up since no one put this in there guides.

I completed this and "Invincible" by using the same method.
Upgrade your Stone Sheild to level 4, and use it for every second of the battle. You can tell when the shield is about to run out by watching the green orb that activates when you start up the shield. Every timw this goes out, use it again. As Ratash summons more enemies to fight, you will regain energy for the sheild.

Edit:
As lipo mentioned in his comment, you can reload the last checkpoint and still get the achievement if you get hit.

A comment to add, if you get past the point where you do the first aerial slash and he throws down his sword the game checkpoints and you can't go back to the beginning of the battle. DON'T perform the aerial slash unless you are certain you haven't taken damage so far or used sands of time...

you get to recover two slots if you reload a checkpoint where you started with zero slots to use stone armor. that helped me get this.

You do not necessarily have to have stone armor upgraded to level 4 to do this successfully. So don't worry if you didn't fully upgrade it.

I however was only at level one, but had my energy slots were maxed out.

For the people that fubar this achievement like I did with my first play through. I suggest playing through the rest of the game and get all your other achievements. Then after finishing the game (make sure and get the Invincible achievement) start a New Game+ which lets you start the game with all your upgrades. Start leveling up Frost Strike or even you have it leveled even better, with it you will fly through the game up to the point where you can go for the achievement again.

A couple pointers:

1) You cannot use the sands of time AT ALL!!! Not even when you are jumping around on the water. Even if it's not to reverse damage done, using the sands will stop the achievement.

2) If you make it all the way through the battle and don't get the achievement, and then your game saves so you can't go back to try it again, do the following (AT YOUR OWN RISK):
-access the 360's memory (either HDD, USB drive, or Mem Card depending on what you are using)
-go to the Prince of Persian: TFS folder
-delete the savegame file making sure to leave the backup save file

This will restart you from the last time you visited Razia. That way you don't have to play through the whole game again to get another chance. Once again, always be careful when messing around in your HDD. You can mess stuff up.

I had some problems with this cheevo popping, heres what do you need for it to unlock:
1) NEVER use time reversal, NEVER, even if dont get hit this disable the cheevo from popping (dont ask me why).
2) DONT get a frontal hit from the balls he launch to you, if you see your screen with red borders its over, you get hitted, even if you have the stone armor up and take 0 dmg, you need to do the plataforming part very fast.
3) Use the stone armor in the fighting scenes as normal.

Remember you can use the return to last checkpoint stuff, but copy your save to a memory stick before the fight, just to be sure.

I have a suggestion for a better and faster approach.

For this to work best, you must preferably have at least a few Energy units (blue orbs) in the metter.

First of all, remember that you must remain untouched but just until the next cutscene, which is always a checkpoint. And that using rewing time to undo damage DOES NOT work for the achievement to unlock. Finally, if you take ANY sort of damage or die, reload the last checkpoint. With that in mind:

1. Watch the video posted in the solution above to get a better understanding of the 3 parts/sequencies of this fight.

2. Instead of using the stone armor in the 1st part of the fight, prefer Ice Blast which can make the entire thing go significantly faster. That way you can also attack from afar (assuming that you have that power upgraded) without worrying about getting hit.

3. For part 2, when you must climb the walls, you can use 1 Energy unit with stone armor, just to be safe, until you reach the enemy and trigger the next cutscene. Remember, if you fall during jumps you'd better load last checkpoint.

4. In the last part, ignore all skeletons and go straight against the main prize, the big boss. You obviously must use stone armor at all times, but if you focus on the boss, he'll be taken down before you run out of Energy units. Each use of stone armor lasts for a while, so don't waste it, just pay attention when it wears out.

If this solution helped you in any way, leave it a thumbs up.

Note that if you miss this achievement but still need the
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten SandsCompletistThe Completist achievement in Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands worth 75 pointsPurchase every item in the upgrade menu.

Then just start a new game, no need to repeat the Enemy Tides for this. Upgrades are saved to your profile so it's kinda like always starting a New Game +

THIS TROPHY IS MISSABLE!

When you enter the throne room later on in the game a cutscene will begin. This is where you will have your first fight against Ratash, please follow below to see how to complete the fight whilst taking no damage.

After the cutscene turn around and climb up the protruding blocks onto the ledge above. Move left and a gap will appear, use the water freeze power and swing on the new water pole onto the next ledge. Run straight ahead and climb up some more blocks, wall run to the right to climb up onto your final ledge. Run forward and jump onto the pole, swing forward to land on the slope and slide down to where Ratash is.

This is important!! Ratash will jump away to a balcony, there will be an auto save here so if you have taken any damage it will be saved and you will have to restart the game from the beginning.

You need to manoeuvre up the columns in the middle of the room by using the water freeze power. When you get to the top slide down the small ramp & jump towards Ratash, he will jump back to the floor and you will start the last part of this battle.

You will be back on the floor now, but this time a lot more sand enemies will be fighting against you. Keep rolling around attacking Ratash’s legs whilst trying to avoid hits from the other enemies. When all his life is down he will be defeated and you will get your trophy.

Remember you can’t take any damage in this fight, see below for tips on how to make sure you don’t.

TIPS:

  • Try to keep rolling between Ratash’s legs as he swings his sword at you. This will cause him to miss you and you will then be behind him which will allow you a few more seconds to attack him.

  • Try not to use you power attack too much. Even though it can do a little more damage than a normal attack it slows you down whilst you hold , this leaves you vulnerable to being hit a lot more.

  • Use the ‘Stone Armour’ power. This power encases you in stone and stops enemies damaging your health. It also seems to make your attacks more powerful & cause more damage. I recommend you try to upgrade this power to level 4 as soon as possible, the power will last for a little bit longer & will be more a bit powerful.

Please watch the video below for more help:

To begin with, let’s not repeat my mistake before the battle, don’t be too lazy to insert the flash drive into your USB and make a backup copy, and if after the second part of the battle the trophy does not open, delete the save and copy from the flash drive, otherwise everything from the very beginning to this moment.

During the first battle there are three checkpoints, if you roll back to them when receiving damage, you will receive a trophy. But before using the razor, it’s better to make a copy onto a flash drive. And before jumping from the water, be sure to turn on your shield. It worked for me the third time. Before this, with the shield turned on, damage still occurred.
