To get to the Konami Cup you have to win the champions league in the current year. This has to be done in Master League. In the next season the konami cup will pop up during a week after the first round of transfers. If you lose just shut the game off and restart it.

Really easy too, Konami Cup comes in the middle of Master League, it's only one match, win it and the trophy is yours.
