The above solution is a good ideas but I found an easier way to do this. In the 1st half score a couple of goals. In the second half get the ball and go to 1 of the wings in your own half and don't press any buttons and your player will just stand there with the ball doing nothing. Don't worry the team your against won't come to you at all. Done this 3 times and I got a possession of 75%-80%
I DID THIS ON BEGINEER 5 MINS

Just play the game as normal once you have the lead play the ball around your defence for 10 matches for the last 20mins of the game and its all yours
