This achievement is actually a lot easier than you may think. There is always 6 or 7 items in each care package so you only need about 8. Simply look for the plane each time you hear it and head straight for the care package. If you don't know what the care packages are, they are the red crates that the plane drops randomly throughout the match. They are sometimes pretty hot and others will likely be heading to them.
About one in four times though you should be able to get to them if they are close and quickly get everything out of them before you get killed.
They also generally contain a full level 3 kit, bag, helmet and body armour, so you can get the achievement for that at the same time.

As of 05/01/2020 The easiest method for this and the Level 3 Armor achievement is to go to the settings and turn off cross-play. Then search for a First-person 1 man squad game. Wait for the care package and drive or walk to it and loot everything. These matches are mainly populated with random bots so you won't die from running around. You can also grind out other achievements with this method such as win 10 games and KIll 1000 enemies. Please let me know if this method gets patched for whatever reason and I will update the guide. Carepackages drop from planes throughout the match. When you hear a plane, quickly look to the skies to spot it. Watch for the drop and then race to it in a vehicle. Upon getting to the crate, loot everything from it. Each item you take from the carepackage will count towards this achievement. You do not have to get 50 items in one match. Be mindful that other players will be trying to get to the carepackage also.

When you hear the plane crossing keep looking until you see the crate dropping. If it is close, go for it, sometimes no one open the crates that already landed afraid from another players camping it. Give it a try and check then.
They always have one of each tier 3 gear, Helmet, Vest and Backpack.
Loot everything and if you don't want something, drop then afterwards. Keep in mind that bullets only count as 1 item, since they are stacked.
