The achievements are unlocking properly now, but they are not retroactive, so if you attempted this before, you will have to do it again.
The easiest way to get this achievement is to wait in the plane all the way to the end of it's path to where it automatically ejects all of the remaining players. There will be several players that are not actually playing that will drop with you.
Just run to them, punch 'em out, then do it again until you get 20.
Before the game went Full Product, everyone at the end of the plane just drifted and went the same way without having to do anything. Now, you have to watch the direction the majority of the group is going in, turn, and drift with them.
If it looks like the plane's flight path is going to end out over water, you may as well leave the game and try again as most AFK players will just float out to sea.
Another way to get this one is to punch out a player you knocked in duos or squads.
If you happen to have four players to punch out (I've had as many as 17 land at the end that were inactive), you will get the Killing Spree Achievement as well.
The Killing Spree achievement in PUBG: Battlegrounds worth 45 pointsKill at least 4 players in a single match.

As VictimOfDesire pointed out, if you are near a house and can pick up some grenades, crossbow, etc. you can get the Pan achievement along with the ones tied to those other specific kill types.
The Don't Pan Me Bro! achievement in PUBG: Battlegrounds worth 37 pointsKill another player with the frying pan.
You can also take another player's clothes and grab this one as well:
The You Complete Me achievement in PUBG: Battlegrounds worth 13 pointsWear the outfit of a dead player.
Update 6/16/2020: With the addition of bots now and a low player count, it's pretty easy to get these in solo squads. Knock a player and punch them out. You can get also get Crossbow, grenade, kills from a car....just about anything you need with this method. Bots are generally dumb and easy to kill.

Appreciate it! When I went to try this again, I had one game with 17 players not playing, but only got 8 of them due to another player doing the same thing. It varies though. Fewest I had was three.

You can also get this by playing duos or squads and knocking people with weapons then punching them when they are downed.

Using only your fists, you must down 20 players total. It might sound easy, but it takes time throughout several matches. Best way to do this is to take out AFK players. Doing this requires you to stay on the plane and jump out at the end and get ready to take out those AFK players, if there are any, and attack them when they land on the ground, with little resistance from them. Be wary that active players are aware of this too and might be farming for easy kills, so you might get gunned down soon after landing. This is why you should leave the plane a few seconds before the AFK players are dropped. You can also arm yourself and take out any other active players around and then press X to holster your weapon and punch the daylight out of the AFK players. You can also try land near another player who also just landed with a parachute and chase after them, some players might focus on finding a weapon to take you down and require to reload if it is a gun. Use this to your advantage. When jumping and pressing the mouse key to punch, you land a hitting strike, which does alot of damage. This is useful in both scenarios, with a player rushing for a gun or an AFK player, since there might be another active player nearby approaching to take you and the AFK players down with a gun. Jump striking makes it much faster to kill the AFK player then.

Landing with other players can lead to a fist fight. Though, landing with AFK players, you can quickly get this achievement without much effort. Be careful of other players trying to do similar.

Go into system menu, turn the cross platform off, refresh the lobby, and play Squad of 1 on random map mode.
Down any bot you come across, Press and hold
to be bare handed, press 
to crouch and then go closer to punch then till they die.
Repeat 20 times and then he trophy is yours.
