XBOX FOR PC PLAYERS:
Make sure you start the QUAKE campaign. You can not jump to levels in other campaigns.

Hit the ~ key and enter "map e2m3"

Now enter the usual "god" and "noclip" into the console commands.

Fly around until you see a BLUE WALL underwater with a green fish painted on it. Its really hard to miss. Turn off no clip here, pick all the stuff, wait a few seconds and you will get the Well of Wishes achievement.

Now, turn noclip back on and just through the blue wall and up a little bit you will find a portal. That is your secret exist portal (this one took like 1 minute for me to pop, so be patient, it's the right portal).

(please note level select seems to nullify some achievements but using the command code work with no problems)

The secret exit for Episode 2 is found in E2M3: The Crypt of Decay. This is a written guide + images to find the secret exit, a video clip is also provided at the bottom if you prefer. It's worth noting that the secret exit is located shortly after an easter egg that also grants an achievement; see details here:

Solution for The Well of Wishes In Quake

The end of the level involves going through a hallway with nail traps, hitting a button to extend a bridge with enemies on it, then crossing that bridge. At the end will be a T-shaped junction. To the right is the level exit; to the left are some enemies and a room with crates.



Before you turn left, you can go back down the bridge and jump to an alcove on the right for a Quad damage and use that for the enemies around the corner. Once they're dead, head into the room and shoot the obvious button on the ceiling. A door will open in between the crates; head in and at the end, press the button.



You now need to backtrack to find the portal exit, the quickest way is through the Well of Wishes secret (whether you got it already or not). Head back down the bridge you crossed, and jump to the alcove on the right where the Quad damage was. Follow the thin ledge to the window, jump in and head down into the water. To the left of the Dopefish is a moving wall - head past it then take a right into the room with the secret exit.

The secret exit is found on Crypt of Decay (E2M3).

STEP 1: Finish the level and get to the normal exit gate.

STEP 2: While facing the level exit, turn directly behind you and walk into a small room with blocks forming a U shape on the wall. Look directly above you on the ceiling for a glowing red button. Shoot to operate. This will open a door inside the U shape block and add a staircase up. Inside this room will be a button, depressing it will give a vague message indicating a gate has opened-up somewhere underwater.

STEP 3: This gate is not found in the water in the main open areas, instead in a pool of water behind a secret wall. To find this secret area, locate the room which has a trap entrance with jaw spikes, which is across one of the bridges in the room with the 4 way crossing of bridges. In this small square room are 3 depressions in the walls. If you shoot the wall to the right of you with the room entrance directly behind you, it'll slide back and away to reveal a pit of water. The gate in this pit should be open if you've pressed the button mentioned in STEP 2.

STEP 4: Go through the now opened gate and the alternate secret exit is just ahead.

Here ill be putting steps for the achievements as well:

1 use the level select and choose E2M3 crypt of decay on easy difficulty

2 in this level we are going to use some secrets to help us move around the map a bit faster

3 at the top of the elevator theres a fork take the right path clear the enemies along the way

4 at the end of this hall hit the button it releases a bridge to cross at the end of the path theres another button to hit that opens the way forward

5 make your way back to the fork and now take the left path

6 here there will be another fork in the path go forward hitting the button go across the bridge to the left

7 to the right of the gold key is cubby shoot the wall it will open revealing the secret exit but its locked at the moment grab the health boost thats there

8 back track following the path all the way to the gold key door

9here shoot this zombie which will open a secret door to the rocket ammo on his platform

10 behind this gold door is a shambler

11 keep following the path to the elevator and down the hallway that shoots at you at the end theres another button that brings out a bridge

12 clear the enemies ahead then go to the left and shoot the switch on the ceiling be quick to hit the switch in the room so the door doesnt close behind you if it does not a big deal just wait for it to close and shoot it to open it

13 now back track to the bridge we just crossed and jump off into the water following the arrows they will lead you to a secret armour pick up and a tele porter

14 once through the teleporter go back to the room you picked up the gold key and shoot the same wall again travel through the water and there is the exit
