PC PLAYERS:
1. go to new game
2. select single player and Scourge of Armagon
3. Hit the ~ key and enter "map hip3m1"
4. turn on "god" and "noclip"
5. You are going to want to go up, to the highest point on the map. When you see a hammer and the silver key you will know you are in the right place. If you look around you will you are supposed to get there by a tram system, but on the edge of the mountain, you will see there is a cliff path you could have taken (if you are doing it legit), There is a spot at the top of the path that overlooks where the silver key is. Turn off no clip so that you are sitting on that spot and the message will pop.
This is from the Quake wiki: "if you discover and follow the alternative path to the tower in Tur Torment (instead of the tram), once you reach the highest point, the Levelord (i.e. Richard Gray) will warn you that "You're not supposed to be here!""

typing in the console doesnt work at all. solutions?!

Typing what in the console doesn't work? The map name? Make sure you start Scourge of Armagon. You can't level skip between campaigns. Also, make sure everything is lowercase. You can not type MAP HIP3M1 for example. It needs to be typed exactly as I wrote in the guide

Firstly, if you don't like reading, here's a video guide:
If you don't want to watch the video, here's what you do:
- Either reach Tur Torment playing the first expansion, Scourge of Armagon, or select it on Level Select if you have it available.
- As soon as you begin, turn right, go outside and press the button to call the tram. Head back inside, grab the super shotgun and go back outside.
- When the tram arrives, step into it, pres the button and turn around. You'll see that you can jump on the roof of the building you were in. Jump there.
- Grab the ammo, turn around again and look over the cliffs on the left side of the map. You'll see that you can jump on them and keep following along the cliff wall.
- Follow until you're near a tower. When you reach the point that looks over the tower, a message will appear onscreen saying you're not supposed to be there.
- Alternatively, if you've reached the tower using the tram and don't feel like restarting/going back, just rocket jump towards the cliff and the message will appear, popping the achievement.

The secret message is found in HIP3M1: Tur Torment. This is a written guide + images to find the secret, a video clip is also provided at the bottom if you prefer.
From the start of the level you'll be in a small room with some items and and two buttons, one is overlooking a wide chasm with a beam crossing it. Press this button and a platform will ride along this beam towards you. Watch out as it has an enemy on board.
Once you've cleared the enemy off, hop on the platform and press the button. As it starts moving, get ready to jump onto the roof of the building right above the button you pressed. There are some items here, do a 180 and you'll notice a path on the left side.
Follow this path for a secret area. Now turn right and you'll see another path along the cliffside, it becomes very thin on the right side.
Carefully go up this thin ledge up to the very top. Here you'll get the message the achievement mentions, but watch out as 3 homing mines will spawn as well. In the video I show a way to jump down and avoid their damage.
