To unlock this achievement you must complete scene 2, The Root of the Tower on hard difficulty. If you are using the easy method for beating the game on hard, you are going to want to exit to the title menu at the SECOND set of lasers you fight to gain entrance to the tower. Continue from here on hard difficulty. Please note, you do not have to destroy both lasers! If there is still one or both left, you can simply make it all the way up to the door by running past the laser beams. Once you make it up the steps the scene ends.
