How to unlock the Battered Bastard of Bastogne achievement in R.U.S.E. - Definitive Guide

This is a Single player achievement and cannot be missed. You will unlock this achievement after completing mission 17 (Blood "N Guts) of the campaign. The achievement unlocks on all difficulties so if you're having troubles play on the easiest difficulty.

According to my game, this was mission 17. It's weird that yours is a mission ahead of mine for the second time. I got this for completing The Siege of Bastogne, not Blood and Guts.
I'll keep posting if the missions are ahead of mine.
