This achievement is quite easy and can start working on it as soon as you are able to buy/create them. If you don't want to buy them from a vendor and want to work towards the "Tinkerer" achievement, you can simply buy the parts needed to make the Wingsticks in Wellspring.

Items required:

1)Steel blades
2)Hardware Packet
3)Electrical Wire Kit

You can also find all of these throughout the Wasteland.

The way I got the achievement was loaded up on Wingsticks before I did a "Hideout" quest. Simply take cover and when bandits or mutants show themselves launch your wingblade towards their head. I don't even think I was close half the time and still managed to get this on "Nightmare" difficulty.

As said above this achievement is fairly easy. All you have to do is aim at the head of the enemy and it should decapitate them. As a side note try to do this on the mutants because the Authority soldiers have shields and Gearheads have helmets. This achievement can be obtained in the campaign and also in the Legends of the Wastelands.

As previously stated, this is both cumulative and simple to accomplish over the course of the campaign.

I simply wanted to add that I found a very easy spot to rack up a pile of headshots in the event that you aren't the type to use wingsticks on a regular basis.

On the "Mutant Expansion" mission (Subway Town, disc 2), there is an objective to find a TNT cache. Upon finding this, you will be ambushed in a small, enclosed area. Equip wingsticks and position yourself in any corner of this room. Aim your target toward the head of each mutant in front of you and let 'er rip with LB. There are plenty of mutants to one-shot in the face.

i got this without realising on the way to the dead city. Its were you come out in a road, and there is a ma-hoos-ive guy walking around at the top near a set of stairs. there is a lot of mutants running at you, just wingstick the bejesus outta them and thats your achievement popped. siimples

This achievement, like the ones like it, just take a bit of patience and you should have it no problem. You start out by earning the right to buy Wingsticks after you win a short mini-game from a girl in the Hager Territory. After you hit 10 targets in the time limit or more, she will approve Halek and other vendors to sell you Wingsticks.

Just tale your time and aim for the head on bandits. I found this actually very easy to get replaying hideouts and sneaking up on bandits.
